bonjour désole peut être je suis trop tard et mon française et pas très bien . pour balade en sikkim dans les village et possible et rencontre the population local mais il faut savoir quelle population tu voulais rencontre n'épalasse ou lepcha ou sikkimese bhutia ou tibetians , et pour alley au nepal cest via darjeeling cest possible , il faut alley au pashupatinagar ou tu vas trovey le bus direct pour kathmandu , cest 1 hrs de route darjeeling ver pashupatinagar , sorry writing to you in english , I dont know if I am late to answer but to walk around the village of sikkim is possible and also to meet the population that would be really interesting and ........lol!!! towards the north you have the real so called origin or the first habitant of sikkim known as the lepchas , that would be really new for you as you should have heard the neaplese and the tibetians which is not new and the other is the so called the l sikkimese people which means the bhutia. so ,its you to first choose ..........lol!! which community population you would be interested to meet with oh to go to kathmandu from darjeeling is possible and easy . well every frontier does have a check point ...........or else you shall violate the rules lol!!! as darjeeling and nepal has a simple border and certain towns are 50/50 which means half the town remains on india and half remains on nepal or half the house is in india and half on nepal ........... well want more info just post your message ..........
