Bonjour. Both flights left and arrived on time. We flew Premium and thought it was money well spent - check-ins took literally seconds and leg was more than sufficient. Remember, however, that Zoom is a budget airline. Service and food are adequate, but nothing to write home about. All in all, not a bad experience and a good deal compared to other companies. We will fly Zoom again next year. Zoom Airlines - by Ben Tuinman 2 October 2005 We flew Economy from Toronto to Paris with Zoom Airlines, on September 3rd, and back again on September 17th. Congratulations to the cabin crew on both flights for excellent service, and a friendly smile ! The food, with choice of wines, was tasty and certainly not worse than any food one gets on major airlines. In fact, some airlines now charge for the wines. Also our compliments to the flight crew, who kept passengers updated during our flight from time to time, and who managed to keep the flight right on schedule, both in Toronto and in Paris. We also like to mention the legroom, which is very adequate, again unlike other airlines, which are often tight and uncomfortable. A truly good experience for the three of us, and we would not hesitate to fly Zoom airlines again, and recommend this fine upstart airline to our friends and family. Keep up the good work, and more passengers will come your way. Zoom Airlines - by David Lowry 21 July 2005 I just recently flew with ZOOM from Montreal (Trudeau) to Paris (Charles-de-Gaulle). Their prices were far more reasonable than anything any other airline could offer, and this included an upgrade to premium-class for the return leg as economy seats were sold out for that particular travel date. During the trip out, I was fortunate enough to have a seat in row 11 on the aisle, which being an exit door row provides for much more legroom. It's worthwhile to pick such seats for the small additional fee, as comfort is greatly enhanced. The service on board the aircraft was pleasant and friendly but certainly not extravagant - if you need something you'll get it, but nobody will be doting on you. That's all you can ask, really. The cleanliness and apparent condition of the aircraft were fine. I did not have any problems with my luggage, and any experienced traveller knows to bring enough essentials in carry-on to cover for a few days if necessary. Fortunately, this was a moot point in my case. The food was typical airline food - and for what you pay you shouldn't expect anything beyond a microwave meal. Overall, on-board service was excellent. The return leg was a bit of a gong show at the airport in Paris, but that has more to do with the staff at CDG3 than with ZOOM. Have patience waiting to check-in and clear security. They have a 35 hr work week in France and most of the staff there must have been somewhere around 34.5 when I arrived. The premium-class upgrade was nice, and the 3 in-flight movies (which were all very good) made time go by all the quicker. Overall, I would rate ZOOM very highly in comparison to other airlines, be they discount or not. I have been on many, and not many can claim to have provided better service - indeed many have provided much, much worse! ------- Néfer "Tout homme qui se tient debout est le plus beau des monuments"
