Mes vertèbres ont la facheuse habitude de se déplacer, et quand cela m'arrive en France, j'ai recours a l'ostéopathie.
Je suis en thailande encore pour 2 mois, et il faut vraiment que je me fasse "réparer" car la douleur ne va aller qu'en empirant...
Perdue dans l'offre de massage thai, je suis a la recherche d'un massage THÉRAPEUTIQUE. Je ne recherche pas un bon salon de massage thai, mais bien quelqu'un ayant une formation ou un savoir faire médical.
Aussi, si l'un /l'une d'entre vous aurait une bonne adresse a m'indiquer, ce serait vraiment super. .

Je l'ai trouvé vraiment bien (et je suis difficile !) : j'avais une douleur genre sciatique/inflammation sacro-illiaque qui n'était pas passée après 10 séances de kiné en France et là je n'ai plus cette douleur. Je suis impressionnée.

Bon et bien le môssieur a été bien efficace, il m'a replacé toutes mes vertèbres avec des méthodes assez proches de l'ostéopathie telle qu'on la connait en Europe.
Je redoutais un peu le côté "vertèbres qui craquent" du massage thai (que je connais mais que j'ai arrêté de pratiquer, car je suis bien trop tendue et sensible) Mais que nenni ! Il a fait preuve d'une tres grande délicatesse. Évidemment, ça pique un peu 😕 : On ne remet pas des vertèbres en place sans secouer un peu ... mais il a également beaucoup utilisé les points de pression du massage thai, et les lignes d'acupuncture.
En bref, un bon praticien à recommander sur chiang mai.

Je vis maintenant à Chiang Mai depuis le mois d'octobre et je comptais bien y retourner un jour. C'est donc sympa de connaître sa nouvelle adresse.

Donc je viens juste donner mon avis sur le Dr Aekkarin.
J'ai mis un peu de temps à obtenir au rdv. Environ une semaine après mon 1er appel.
Il m'a donc soigné les cervicales et un bras, en massant mon bras et en me bougeant la tête dans plusieurs directions.
Au bout de 2 jours les douleurs ont disparues, j'y suis allée il y a environ 1 mois, et mes douleurs ne sont pas revenues !
Je conseille donc ce docteur il se trouve toujours à la même adresse donnée par Ptitourdasie et j'ai payé 400 baths pour 30 minutes de soin.
Bonjour à tous, je me permet de poster mon expérience qui confirme vos dires .... en vacances à Chiangmai, je suis sujet aux limbago assez violents, après 12 heures de train pour venir de Bangkok, je me suis retrouvé bloqué du dos !!! après avoir trouvé vos commentaires sur le Dr Aekkarin, je l'ai contacté le soir et j'ai eu rdv le lendemain. Rdv donc dans un petit salon de massage qui n'a rien à voir avec une clinique, je suis resté 1 heures avec lui où il m'a expliqué certaines choses qu'on avait pas su me dire en 3 ans de suivi ostéo et contredit aussi certaines certitudesbien ancrées en france..... techniques douces mais ciblées, je suis arrivé plié en 2, je suis ressorti mieux et quelques heures après, plus rien !!! impressionnant.
Médecin traditionnel thaï, il a trouvé ce qui n'allait pas et m'a conseillé différents mouvements à appliquer ..... toute ma vie !!! en me certifiant que si je mettais ça en place, je n'aurais plus jamais de lumbago ..... à suivre ;-)

Il exerce toujours le 12/10/2017 et il vient de régler un problème où 7 spécialistes rencontrés ces 3 derniers mois ont échoués! Je suis bluffé et à la fois en admiration envers tant de simplicité ! Je revis et peux dormir à nouveau ! Merci à tous pour avoir fait suivre les messages , vous avez sauvé mes vacances !
Dorénavant, quand j aurai un problème de santé, je prendrai un allez retour pour Chiang Mai ! C est pas remboursé mais au moins, ça fonctionne;)

De visite à Chang mai en février 2018, nous avons sollicité le docteur Aekkarin car ma compagne se plaignait du dos à cause d'un mauvais mouvement depuis près de deux semaines. Étant en plein tour du monde à ce moment là, il était difficile de savoir vers qui se retourner pour la soigner. Grâce aux précédents posts, nous sommes arrivés à joindre le Dr.Aekkarin par téléphone au +66 81 602 3365. Il parle bien anglais, mais pour ceux qui ont du mal avec la langue de Shakespear vous pouvez le joindre sur WhatsApp.
Après la sceance, ma compagne s'est senti bien mieux. Nous attendons quelques jours pour tirer un bilan. Quoiqu'il en soit, cette personne est très professionnelle et très gentille. Nous le recommandons vivement. Nous l'avons appelé le mardi, le lendemain nous avions eu rdv initialement dans le salon de massage Choeng Doi Massage. Mais parce que nous étions pressé, il s'est rendu à notre hôtel dans l'après midi même ! Prix de la consultation 1000 bath (soit 26 euros) et 100 baths supplémentaire pour le crème de massage faite par ses soins.
Il nous as demandé de dire aux français intéressés par ses compétences de le contacter par message watsap ou SMS, ou si vous maîtrisez bien l'anglais de l'appeler par téléphone.
N'hésitez pas, c'est un très bon praticien. Concernant ma compagne, il n'a rien fait craqué, ce qui l'effrayait avant la sceance. Tout était dans la manipulation douce!

Je souhaite vous faire part de mon expérience à Chiang mai avec le Dr Aekkarin. Je me suis bloqué le dos une semaine avant de partir en Thaïlande. Suite passage chez un ostéopathe en urgence avant de partir, ce dernier ma débloqué après avoir manipulé mon dos mais sans certitude que je sois tranquille durablement... effectivement, après 15 jours au Laos, me voilà à nouveau complètement bloqué avec une douleur très forte sur le côté de la colonne vertébrale, impossible de bouger par moment et difficultés à respirer...la prochaine destination étant Chiang mai, je me suis renseigné et c'est suite à cette discussion que j'ai décidé de contacter le Dr Aekkarin. Ce dernier a immédiatement accepté de se rendre à mon hôtel. Après une courte analyse de la situation, ce dernier m'a complètement libéré le dos....sans y toucher ! J'avais vraisemblablement un nerf coincé au niveau du ventre et de la main droite !!! Il m'a expliqué que tout est connecté et que nous avons souvent tendance à se focaliser sur l'endroit où nous avons mal alors que le problème peut venir d'ailleurs...il m'a donné des exercices à faire ainsi que certaines attitudes quotidienne à avoir pour que les choses s'améliorent durablement. Il est également revenu le lendemain déposé a mon hôtel un outil de massage thaïlandais. Bilan, une personne très humaine, vraiment qualifiée et qui explique ce qu'elle fait. Je suis vraiment content d'avoir croisé sa route. Je recommande fortement. Info tarif : 1100 B pour la consultation (en déplacement a mon hôtel) + 100 B pour la pommade.
Étant à Chiang Mai et le dos bloqué, cette conversation ma bien servie 🙂 !
J'ai contacté Dr Aekkarin, qui est venu a domicile en 24h.
J'ai eu droit a une séance de 50min sur mon ventre, jambes et bras.
Sans touché au dos donc, mon ventre était vraiment raide du à des événements stressant vécu récemment, ce qui fessait un bloc et a conduit à un déplacement au niveau des vertèbres en milieu de dos. Ce qui bloquait la moitié de ma respiration et mes mouvements.
Le problème est disparu petit à petit sur les 24h suivant son passage. Je suis à nouveau tout neuf !
Dr Aekkarin toujours en activité au 13 Janvier 2019, toujours +61 81 602 3365 et répond par What's App rapidement.
Son prix semble augmenter doucement, 1200 Baths + 100 Baths de pommade maison.
Sa technique me semble être un mélange d’accupressure, de massage énergétique et de Yoga.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
Have any of you been in this situation before? How does it work at customs—do I need to declare everything that exceeds the 3-month limit? Do I need a letter from my doctors?

I think I can get authorization from my doctor to travel for 6 months with the treatment—is that correct? After those 6 months, is it possible (instead of bothering a relative to send the medication) to see a foreign doctor to get another 6-month travel authorization? How does it work at the airport? Do I need just one medication transport authorization, or do I have to request a new one in each country (once the treatment runs out) for both the flight and a DCI? For several years now, increased aggression has been observed in Cape fur seals.

It was recently confirmed that this is due to rabies.
The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
The contagion seems to be spreading.
Preventive vaccination (of the animals) is being considered.

Rabies affects all mammals.
Once symptoms appear—sometimes weeks or even months later—death is inevitable.
It’s the bite that transmits the disease.
There are so-called "furious" forms with aggression, but also forms without aggression.
In case of a bite, in addition to standard wound care, tetanus prevention… rabies prevention is essential.
