Getting to Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport from Austerlitz Station

hi! the easiest way to get to CDG is to take the metro if you're not too loaded down. Change at Châtelet-les-Halles, and from there take an RER straight to the airport. As for hotels, it's better to stay in a small hotel in central Paris because the ones near the airport are really expensive.

Use the RATP app—you’ll see all the ways to get there, but most importantly, by entering your time and date, you’ll know if there are any works scheduled for that exact day. For a hotel, I don’t know, but I’d pick one along the line to easily reach the airport.

It’s really easy. Don’t take the métro—take the RER instead. From Austerlitz Station: Take the RER C (Direction Pontoise or Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche or Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines) to Saint-Michel–Notre-Dame, then the RER B (Direction Aéroport Charles de Gaulle).

Depending on your departure terminal, get off at Aéroport Ch. de Gaulle 1 (Terminal 1 and 3) or Aéroport Ch. de Gaulle 2 (Terminal 2).

While you’re at it, could you recommend a budget hotel near the airport

Contrary to what’s been said, don’t stay at a hotel in Paris—it’ll be more expensive and more complicated to get to CDG! I recommend the Première Classe hotel in Le Mesnil-Amelot, located in the "countryside" 2 km east of CDG Terminal 2. They have shuttles to and from all three CDG terminals (about 10 minutes to CDG2). I’ll add another option: leave Austerlitz Station and head to Gare de Lyon to take the RER A, then get off at Les Halles and switch to line B (on the same platform).

For the hotel, we checked on Booking and went with the Ibis Style (it was cheaper than the Ibis at the time).
