Sinon, y a -t- il des hôtels sympas et pas trop chers?
Pour quel coût?
Pour le certificat d'hébergement, je pense qu'une personne d'Alger peut me le faire
Est-ce gênant, si nous n'allons chez cette personne qu'à la fin de notre séjour?
Pour faire le voyage entre Annaba et Alger quel est le meilleur moyen? si c'est l'avion, faut-il le réserver avant le départ de France? et quel est le coût?

Le certificat d'hébergement ne te servira qu'à faire le visa, tu peux te rendre chez la personne qui te le fait quand tu le souhaites, ou ne pas y aller du tout !
Pour te rendre à Annaba, le mieux est bien évidement l'avion, tu as 45 min de trajet, je crois que le prix est de 3000 Da pour l'aller simple pour une personne (soit un peu plus de 30 euros, vu sur un forum Algérien, et info venant d'un voyagiste), le mieux étant d'acheter ton billet sur place, il te coûtera moins cher que de le prendre en europe, et tu pourras le payer en dinnars.... il doit y avoir au moins deux vols par jour qui font Alger/Annaba.
Maisons d'hôte ou hébergements chez l'habitant, ça me parle pas spécialement, et hôtel sympa et pas cher je connais pas désolé, tout ce que je sais c'est qu'il y a un super hôtel sur les hauteurs de Seraïdi, mais le prix doit être bien gastronomique !
je suis originaire d'annaba.
donc deja je peux te dire qu'il n'y a pas de maisons d'hote sauf si tu as des amis chez qui squatter.
il y aplusieurs hotels pour tout les budgets, du plus miteux dans la vieille ville (place d'arme) au 4* (seybouse)
mais au centre ville plein de petit hotel pas trop cher et correct.

perso j'ai tout testé le car, le train et l'avion:
le car 500 dinars (5€) mais environ 7h de route perso je trouve que c'est l'enfer surtout quand il fait chaud mais c'est un bon plan quand on est fauché
le train 700 dinars (7€) mais c'est encore plus long presque 10h voire plus avec le retard je l'ai fait une fois et plus jamais je le ferais meme si je suis fauché!
Reste le meilleur moyen l'avion rapide meme si les vols sont un peu en retard!
45mn chrono, par contrel e prix a augmenter par rapport a ce que j'ai lu avant 83€ TTC l'aller retour ou 43€ l'aller simple l'achat sur place ou en france ne vous fera gagner qu'1€ ou 2€ il n'y a presque rien comme difference, perso je prefere acheter mes billets avant mon depart pour etre sru d'avoir une place, car meme s'il y en a parfois comme par hasard le vol est complet!
sinon il y a 4vols par jour et non pas 2 comme on l'a dit juste avant!
vous pouvez acheter le billet d'avion dans une agence airalgerie ou au comptoir de l'aeroport ou sur leur site internet www.airalgerie.dz je l'ai testé ça marche bien, on recoit le billet chez soit par la poste.

C'est vrai que l'avion entre Annaba et Alger est une solution aisée, mais je pense que le bus c'est mieux.
Cela permet de voir les paysages et de rencontrer des gens sympas, celui de 5h du matin est bien à mon avis.

- Why do so many people recommend avoiding international agencies for car rentals? Can anyone explain why?
- Is Booking.com reliable, and has anyone rented a vehicle through their service? There’s a pretty big price difference compared to local Moroccan agencies.
- Is there a detailed road map included in the rental car?
- Is Google Maps enough to get around the High Atlas? This will be my first trip there.

I’ve read through the various discussions about the country, but I’m still a bit unsure🤪: for currency exchange, I saw on the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs website that withdrawing currency with a bank card from ATMs is limited to 200 TND per week. Then, when I mentioned I wanted to stay for two or three weeks—maybe even a month—explaining that my trip wouldn’t be strictly touristy but more of a pilgrimage to the places of my childhood, and that it would likely be a very emotional journey, I expected a positive and warm reaction to my approach. Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.
