Trip to Finland

Hi there, I’m planning to explore Laos or Thailand in January and I’m looking for a travel partner for the whole trip or just part of it. I’ve started mapping out a route for Laos—I prefer local transport and simple accommodations. If this sounds interesting to you, let me know, but the dates aren’t flexible. See you soon.

Hello,

I’m planning to go to Oman in December (the 9th, if there aren’t too many geopolitical issues) for a month. I canceled this trip last year because of the war. I’m flying with Pegasus for 350 € round trip (easy to cancel in case of war). Is there anyone interested in sharing a car rental? Man or woman. I’m 77 years old and travel a lot around the world. See you soon,

Patrice

Hi there! I love discovering new cities, nature, culture, hiking, and little getaways without breaking the bank. I’m looking for friendly, motivated people to share trips or weekends with, whether in Europe or anywhere else. I’m open to ideas and like to chat a bit before diving into a plan.

If you have a destination in mind, a travel project, or just don’t want to go alone, feel free to reply. I’d love to make some great connections and share some amazing moments!

Looking forward to hearing from you, Elise

Hello everyone, 🙂

I’m thinking of chasing some sunshine in Sicily in mid-November (from the 7th to the 15th), mixing visits, great hikes, discoveries, gastronomy, and more! I’d like to head to Palermo, Catania, Mount Etna, Syracuse, and so on. I imagine the island will be really peaceful at this time of year. I’m 45, very adaptable, and curious—just looking to enjoy the experience.

If any kind souls are interested in joining, don’t hesitate to reach out!

See you soon, maybe! Grazie🙂

Antoine

Hello, I’m Anne, 70 years old, I live in Cannes, in the south of France, and I’m especially fond of carnivals. I’ve already been to those in Brazil (Rio, Salvador de Bahia), the one in Colombia (Barranquilla), and a few in Europe. I’d love to experience the one in Bolivia (Oruro), which is very famous—it takes place from February 4th to 9th. Since it’s not the best time to visit this region, I’ll continue on to either Chile or northern Argentina (Salta, etc.). Anyone interested? I know it’s a bit last-minute... but I’m giving it a shot, otherwise I’ll go alone through an agency. Thanks for your replies, and happy travels to everyone!

Hi there, does a snorkeling-focused trip to Raja Ampat sound appealing to you? I’m in! But not alone—it’s safer and more fun to be at least two, plus we can share some costs (like boat trips) and the beauty of the world. I’ll be available from early December 2026 to mid-February 2027. I’m 67, live in Réunion, and can’t dive anymore, but I’m still passionate about the ocean, so I’ve switched to snorkeling. If this adventure interests you, let me know so we can plan—apparently, it’s not something you can improvise last-minute, and it does require a budget (mine isn’t huge, so I’m ruling out cruises over 5,000 €).

Hi, I'm looking for a travel companion to join me in a camper van for 3 months, starting late December or early January 2027 to explore Morocco. I've been there several times already... Any route suggestions are open for discussion. I have my dog with me...Patrick

hi there, I’m heading to Colombia in December 2026 for 3 months (visiting other countries is possible too). Backpacker style, traveling light. I’m a 67-year-old retiree... if you’re interested, let me know! Have a great day, Patrice

Hi there! I’d like to visit Kabylie, specifically around Draa el Mizan (Greater Kabylie). I’m looking for someone who’d like to join me before the end of this year, for about a week—we can decide the dates together. If you’re already there and can give me some tips, that’d be really great, thanks!

Hello, Looking for a travel partner for a trip of at least 2 months, up to 3 months possible. Departure from PARIS on January 27th, one-way flight to HANOI, VIETNAM. Then by train and minibus (I’ve already done the route up to) SAPA (rice terrace ethnic region), then DIEN BIEN PHU, crossing the border to northern LAOS, MUANG KHUA by local boats for about 300 km with stops in MUANG NGOI, NONG KIAW, then continuing on the MEKONG to arrive by boat in LOUANG PRABANG. Stop durations in towns depend on the sights to visit. “If it’s good, we extend; if we’re done, we move on.” The rest by bus, train, and boat: VANG VIENG, VIENTIANE, THAKHET, SAVANNAKHET, PAKSE, CHAMPASSAK. Crossing into Cambodia: KRATIE, PHNOM PENH, KAMPONG KHLEANG (floating and stilt village), SIEM REAP (Angkor). Crossing into Thailand at POIPET (I’ve already spent a month in Thailand). BAN PHE by boat to KO SAMET (white sand, cocktails). Return via BANGKOK. Flight PARIS-HANOI and return BANGKOK-PARIS around 800 €. This is a flexible outline, but I’ve thoroughly researched this trip—the sights to see, charming little hotels with nice settings when possible, even the bars and restaurants are marked on my phone. Budget-wise, it’s not as expensive as you might think. I’m not looking for luxury, just authenticity: cheap little hotels, same for food. I’m 67 years old, have an international driver’s license for cars and motorcycles, and am well-experienced with this kind of road trip. I’m waiting to book my flight (as soon as possible) in case I get a response to travel together or meet up in Hanoi. Possible to go as far as VIENTIANE. My only requirements are: A small backpack, max 5 kg, to move around easily (for moto-taxis, no checked luggage on planes or buses), and absolutely no rolling suitcases (train station sidewalks when looking for a hotel). Also, enjoy walking (I walk a lot to explore)—it can go up to 10 km spread over the day. I’m open to 1 or 2 women who want to “feel secure” or try the 5 kg challenge (I’ve had several female travel partners who survived). I also adapt to vegan travelers. Don’t hesitate to contact me. Bruno.

Lovers of vast open spaces and beautiful journeys 🌍. For an undetermined duration, I plan to continue a trip I started last year (Cuzco/Puerto Montt). Departing from Puerto Montt in Chile to the southernmost city in the world, Puerto Williams. Transportation: buses or short-term car rentals and ferries (sailing through the fjords). Accommodations: hospedajes or dorms depending on what we find. Food: markets, street food, local restaurants, and homemade meals—without ruling out little treats. Passing through PUYUHUAPI, COYHAIQUE, PUERTO RÍO TRANQUILO (Marble Caves), PUERTO NATALES (Torres del Paine Park), crossing into Argentina (El Chaltén—trekking capital, El Calafate—Perito Moreno Glacier), PUNTA ARENAS, all the way to the southernmost city in the world, PUERTO WILLIAMS (on Navarino Island) 🏝️ before crossing the Beagle Channel again to reach USHUAIA and heading back up through Argentina—maybe even making our way to Paraguay. No set timeline. The dates aren’t finalized yet. The ideal time for Patagonia is December to February, but that’s also peak season and more expensive. October/November or March/April might be better—still to be decided. Calling all adventurers and sports enthusiasts! If this adventure tempts you, get in touch. Meeting beforehand to get to know each other and see if we click is a must. Thanks, and see you soon.

South Korea 2027 – Looking for a travel companion

Hello everyone,

I’m planning a trip to South Korea in 2027 and would love to meet someone interested in sharing this wonderful experience.

I’m a retired, curious, and independent traveler who enjoys taking my time to explore a country, soak in its atmosphere, observe the daily life of its people, and discover neighborhoods, markets, local traditions, and culture.

I don’t want to rush from one tourist site to another but would rather stay longer in the places I choose to truly get to know them.

I’m considering a trip of about three to four weeks, including Seoul, Jeju Island, Busan, and Gyeongju. Extending the trip to Japan could also be an option.

My dates are flexible: April or September-October 2027, or even another time we can discuss. The duration, itinerary, and budget are all open to planning together.

I’m looking for someone independent, open-minded, curious, and easygoing to build this trip with—someone who values sharing, respect, and mutual freedom.

If this way of traveling resonates with you, I’d be happy to chat!

See you soon, maybe!

Hello, I’m a French guy visiting Thailand for the first time in November (starting on the 12th), and I’d love to share part of the itinerary with a French woman in her 40s or older. Just to clarify, I can get by in English. Why not combine our strengths and make the most of this trip? Thanks,

Hey there, beautiful and diverse travel community,

With just one day left (if that!) before I arrive in Florence for a quick getaway, I’m throwing this message into the (Mediterranean) sea in the hope of walking a few steps (wearing out my shoes?) alongside a fellow traveler eager to soak up the scents of Florence—a still-vibrant relic of the Renaissance era. It’d be a sensory awakening without which we’d miss the very essence of discovering lands we too rarely consider.

Open-mindedness, tolerance, a touch of madness (big or small), and Difference are all welcome—even actively sought after!

To keep it simple and less psychedelic, here are the key points of my autumn trip to Tuscany: - Arriving in Florence on the morning of Friday, October 9th - Leaving on Sunday evening, October 11th, to head back to my native Bouches-du-Rhône. That leaves just under three full days to soak up the intensity of Florence and the historical heritage of this famously romantic city. - Since I booked this trip last-minute, I’ll be staying in a youth hostel for both nights. - My sightseeing plans are flexible but will definitely include museums, gardens, and squares/fountains. I fell in love with the Villa Medici in Rome during a previous trip in 2025, so I’d love to continue in that vein.

I didn’t mention it earlier, but I’m traveling solo. I’m 38 years old, but with fewer stardust particles than light-years of flight hours under my belt. I speak Shakespeare’s language moderately well (but compared to my Spanish, it could be worse!) and can handle Cervantes’ language well enough that I’m not terrified of tackling Italy with nothing but Don Quixote’s idioms as my linguistic weapons! Luckily, with my basic grasp of Molière’s language, I might just avoid the Devil and dream of Olympus and the Colosseum (or Olympique de Marseille and Michael Olisé ⚽).

To anyone interested in making this early autumn anything but dull: let’s connect! If I come off as too much, I’ll dial it back—no need to play the tough guy or pull a Sylvester Stallone act if we cross paths. Otherwise, I might end up annoying you to the point of cracking (like a cricket?) or wearing you down (like the cicada—"igual"?), and I’d really rather not end up... alone (thankfully, I don’t have a clone). ;-)

Ciaooo bello/a(s) Reachable via private message or phone during the day to gauge compatibility. Florence: "I think, therefore I (follow) you." Italy, you haunt me, so I’m diving in! LaurENT, take me as I am or leave me

Hello everyone,

I’d like to travel with one or two women, preferably, for a 3-month discovery stay in Tokyo this summer, from mid-June to early September. (Dates are flexible.) Think dynamic retirees!

1) The cheapest flight ticket right now (I checked this morning) is around 720 €. If we don’t wait too long, that is—prices will climb fast.

2) Once there, sharing a room costs about 300 € per month. Food is very affordable, and the yen is at a really low rate. Would Geneva Airport with Air China work for you?

3) Would 84 days work for you (from June 10 to around September 2, flexible)? Tokyo is the world’s largest city, with 30 million people, and it’ll be *very* hot.

4) We’ll face a major heatwave in France, but Japan will be just as scorching (2027 is an El Niño year due to climate change).

5) As long as we share a place—even a tiny room with bunk beds—we can still be independent. But knowing we’re teammates, flying together, returning to France together, and supporting each other on the ground is really reassuring.

If these conditions interest you, we can talk on the phone to discuss next steps. I live in Strasbourg.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best regards,

Lililotus

Hi, Is anyone leaving to go to Istanbul by bus or train with stops in about ten cities? On my list: Bergamo, Trieste, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Belgrade, Sofia, and Istanbul. Stop in each city long enough to visit. Total approximate duration: 3 weeks. Departure sometime in October.

Hello, I’m 65 years old, from Montpellier, and I love traveling—discovering new countries, new cultures, but most of all, meeting people and enjoying what life still has to offer. I’m pretty curious, unconventional, and love living life to the fullest. I enjoy stepping off the beaten path. Routine is definitely not my thing! 😄 I’m looking for men or women, roughly between 35 and 80 years old, who share the same love for travel and, most importantly, the same mindset: open-minded, positive, tolerant, curious, with a sense of humor and a desire to enjoy life. I appreciate people who embrace differences, aren’t judgmental, and with whom you can talk about anything, laugh, and put the world to rights over a good meal or a drink… in short, people who love life! 🥂 Just to clarify, my search is strictly platonic, with no flirting or ambiguity. The idea is to make meaningful connections, share outings, getaways, and maybe even future trips together. ✈️ I’ve already been lucky enough to travel to Thailand, Turkey, Israel, Italy, Cuba, Greece & some Greek islands, and the United States… and Japan is currently in the works. For 2027, the list of destinations is long: Vietnam, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Tahiti… and more! 🌍 Why not start by simply getting to know each other over a coffee, a meal, or an outing? If the vibe is right, we can then plan little getaways or trips together. I’m thinking of a small group of 2 to 5 people max, to keep the atmosphere friendly and really enjoy each other’s company. And of course, everyone keeps their independence and books their own room. We share the trips and the good times, not necessarily the room! 😉 I’m not looking to collect contacts. I’m looking for the right people. So, if you recognize yourself in this mindset, message me privately, and we’ll chat and see where it takes us. Traveling is wonderful. Traveling with the right people is even better. 🌍✈️🥂

We’re currently three retirees (one man and a couple) looking for one or two people to join us on a road trip through Patagonia by car.

Starting from Concepción in Chile, we’ll head to San Carlos de Bariloche (a possible meet-up point) in Argentina to reach Cabo Vírgenes. Then we’ll return via Route 40, with detours on the Chilean side (Torres del Paine, Lake General Carrera, Coyhaique).

We’ll pass by the Perito Moreno Glacier, Laguna del Desierto, Perito Moreno Park at the foot of San Lorenzo, Jeinemeni Park, Los Alerces Park, and more. A few hikes are planned.

Dates: November 6 to December 15, from Concepción back to Concepción.

Feel free to get in touch! Marc

Looking for a travel companion for a round-the-world expedition in a truck. Departure planned for late 2027. Someone motivated who loves adventure (moderate level), a co-pilot, a friend—all in good spirits and with respect. Appropriate age. If this speaks to you, get in touch! Preferably someone from my region—you’ll see, I’m really friendly... See you soon, Didier

Hi everyone, I’m Amit, I’m Indian and I currently live in Nashik, Maharashtra. I lived and studied in France for two years as part of my master’s degree. I speak French (B1 level—I recently passed the DELF B1 exam), English, Hindi, and Marathi. I love traveling, especially in groups, and I enjoy organizing trips and helping out when unexpected things come up. I’ve also traveled in Switzerland and the Netherlands and lived in Delhi. I’m wondering if there’s demand for French-speaking local travel companions in India, especially for travelers who’d prefer having someone on the ground to help them during their stay. I could help with transportation, hotels, restaurants, communicating with locals, planning the itinerary, sightseeing, and handling unexpected situations. I’d also be interested in accompanying travelers for several days, depending on the itinerary and my availability. If any of you have used this kind of local companion in India before, or know travelers looking for this type of help, I’d love to hear your advice and experiences. Thanks in advance! 😊

Merci d’avance ! 😊

Hi there, I’m a 67-year-old woman living in Belgium, in good health. I’m looking for female or male travel companion(s) for a trip to Laos lasting 3 to 4 weeks max, preferably this year still—departure in October, returning by 15/11/26 at the latest. Possible dates also from 29/01/27 to 15/03 at the latest, still for 3 to 4 weeks. Departure from Brussels, Paris, or another airport depending on the price. We could also meet up there. The goal is to travel relaxed using public transport where possible, visiting places like Luang Prabang and its surroundings, Vientiane and what there is to see around it, Vang Vieng, the Bolaven Plateau, the 4,000 Islands, the Plain of Jars, ethnic villages, Nong Khiaw, going up or down the Mekong, Muang Sing, and more depending on mutual interests. No big treks or long hikes, though we could arrange a day or two if we feel like it. The itinerary will be planned together without setting anything in stone, so we can stay flexible and follow our moods without wondering every morning what we’ll do that day. Looking for clean accommodations like guesthouses, with private bathrooms, and fans rather than AC. Shared rooms are an option. It would be great to meet beforehand if possible, otherwise via video call. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi there, India lovers! I’d love to return to Tamil Nadu for its magnificent temples and Pondicherry, and to Kerala for its lush landscapes and breathtaking festivals. Not to mention the fabulous Ayurvedic treatments! January–February 2027 Private driver, guesthouses, and boutique hotels. Get in touch soon to plan together! Gigi 0601634478

hi everyone, I’m planning a two-month trip to China in early 2027 and already have a pretty detailed itinerary I’ve put together through my research. Of course, it can be adjusted based on interests and encounters, but the main outline is set.

I love beautiful landscapes, lively cities, meeting people, local culture, and places a little off the beaten path. I’m pretty adaptable—I enjoy comfort but can also stay in simpler accommodations if the experience is worth it.

I’m looking for one or more curious, open-minded people who’d like to share all or part of this trip, in good spirits and at everyone’s own pace. The idea isn’t to do everything together at all costs, but to share discoveries, journeys, visits, and great memories.

If this sounds like you, feel free to message me! Looking forward to chatting and, who knows, setting off on an adventure together! 😊

Hi everyone,

I’ll be in Jomtien, Thailand in early October, and I’m looking for one or more players (preferably French-speaking) for some games of American pool in the afternoons or evenings.

I’m not a pro, but I can hold my own, and I’d love to play a few hours a day or week with other French speakers. Feel free to reply via private message or on the site. Hope to see you soon! Thanks 😎

Hi there, I’ll be in Trani, Puglia from October 3rd to 5th. If you’re in the area, we could meet up to explore the town and its surroundings (Barletta, Molfetta). If you’re into photography, the cathedrals overlooking the harbors are a must at sunset. See you soon!

Hey, I’m 25 and looking for 1 or 2 guys between 22 and 27 to head to Lloret this summer.

The plan: Thursday → Monday, 4 nights of sun, beach, drinks, and most importantly, big nights out.

The dates aren’t set yet, so we can pick a time that works for everyone. Everyone comes from their own city, and we’ll meet up directly in Lloret.

The goal: make the most of it—beach in the afternoon, drinks, good food, and hitting up pubs, bars, and clubs at night.

I’m looking for sociable, fun, and reliable guys where the vibe just clicks.

No need to already be a group—the idea is to get to know each other casually before booking and see if we’re on the same page for the trip.

If the plan sounds good to you, hit me up! 🍻🇪🇸

I’m planning my 6th bike trip. After crossing France, Spain, and Portugal, my last leg brought me to Fes. In November, I’m heading out again for about 1,000 km through the Atlas Forest and the desert. Have you done any bike trips before? If so, get in touch—I’ll share the Komoot route with you. See you soon
