For February 2027,
Since it's so much better to travel as a pair, I'm looking for a friendly female travel buddy to visit Laos, with a stop in northern Thailand first to explore the Chiang Mai region before heading to Laos.
I travel backpacker-style but with comfort—staying with locals or in small hotels with private bathrooms, using the country's trains and buses. I'm easygoing, love joking around and laughing, and I'm experienced with independent travel. To avoid flight surprises, it'd be best to book them 6 to 8 months in advance. If you're interested, get in touch!

The full trip runs from early October 2025 until our return to France in early January 2026—87 days total, CDG-SGN <==> SGN-CDG.
You can split the journey into multiple legs based on your availability.
The itinerary is set up as a big loop: starting in Vietnam, then northern Laos, Thailand, southern Laos, and Cambodia from north to south before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City to fly home.
Depending on your schedule, several arrival points are possible:
- Early October: Ho Chi Minh City, - Around October 20: Hanoi, - Early November: Vientiane/Luang Prabang, - November 15: Bangkok, - Early December: Siem Reap, ...
You can leave whenever works for you based on your availability.
Excluding round-trip flights to/from France (or elsewhere in Asia), the average budget is 25 € per day, covering accommodation and bus transfers.
Looking forward to chatting more, sharing details, meeting up, and traveling together for an amazing adventure!

Hi there,
I’m heading off for 3 weeks around 15–20/11/2025 to Laos and then Cambodia (I’ve already done Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia… so the countries won’t change 😄).
I’ve already got a rough itinerary in mind (the must-sees), including a land border crossing between the two countries after the 4000 Islands.
I’m used to traveling light with a backpack, no stress, and I love walking/hiking.
If anyone fancies joining me, feel free to reply! !

Hello,
For the Laos portion of my trip in Asia, I’m looking for a travel companion (male or female) starting September 16, 2025. I’m 78 years old and travel backpacker-style but with a minimum of comfort. Getting around by local buses and motorbike (scooter type). Planned route from Luang Prabang to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) for about a month. Get in touch for more details. See you soon
I’m looking for a travel companion to visit Asia in several trips.
I live in Paris.
Available outside of school holidays.
I’m gay.
Hi everyone,
We’re a couple planning to cross China from north to south in early August (Erenhot to Mohan). A guide and agency are required, and the price is lower for groups of travelers. Our dates aren’t set yet (first week of August is almost certain).
If anyone’s interested, feel free to reach out! :-)
See you soon! Nav & Pauline

Hi there,
I’d love to start traveling with company again, but going solo can feel a bit heavy. I’m looking for someone to share part of the journey with.
Hi there! I found a 24-day Laos tour with the agency Tamera in March '25.
Who’d like to join me? It looks like there are already 2 people signed up. Just 2 more and the tour is guaranteed!
Happy holidays to everyone
Hello,
I’ve been retired since 2018 and travel solo every winter. But after my sons pointed out: “riding alone through Laos on a bike! Safety-wise, there’s room for improvement.” I’m getting older and need to be more careful. That’s the reason for this post. The idea is to look out for each other if needed, while still keeping our independence and privacy. I’ll be in Laos starting December 6th, then probably Thailand in January since I want to do some diving. After that, it’s all improvisation—nothing’s set in stone. If the destination and the concept interest you, well, we can just chat about it.
Hi there,
I’ll be in Laos and then Cambodia from mid-to-late December until early February.
I haven’t been to Laos before, but I already know Cambodia.
I plan to arrive via northern Thailand and leave from Bangkok (it’s a question of flight prices).
I’m used to traveling by local transport and staying in simple guesthouses, with internal flights if needed. Sightseeing, exploring, and connecting with locals are my priorities.
If anyone’s interested in joining for part or all of this trip, we can chat and discuss. I only have a rough itinerary so far.
See you soon,
Francoise
Who’s up for an amazing trip alternating karst landscapes, jungle, rice terraces, plains, easy hikes, and a paradise island off Sihanoukville? We’ll arrive via Chiang Rai in northern Thailand, cross the border, take a boat on the Mekong, and travel by road to discover mountain tribes, Luang Prabang and its wonders, then hop on an ultra-fast TGV train to Vientiane. From there, a flight to Siem Reap for the Angkor temples, floating villages on Tonlé Sap Lake, Battambang, and mountain jungle before reaching Phnom Penh. Finally, a road trip to Sihanoukville to embark on a 3-day paradise getaway before flying back to Paris from Phnom Penh.
Mix of 3-star accommodations and resorts. February–March 2025
Dare to join this exceptional journey I’ve planned with an adventure travel agency—small groups and tailor-made! My co-traveler just dropped out. See you soon! Gigi

Hi there, I’d like to travel to Laos in January and I’m looking for someone to join me. I want to do some long hikes and enjoy the local landscapes and cultures, but I’m a bit nervous about going alone. I’m a 22-year-old guy, easygoing and friendly.
