Hi everyone,
Is anyone here planning to do the RN7 route in reverse—that is, from Tulear to Antananarivo—early next month?
If so, please get in touch!

Hi everyone, while searching for a tour with a local agency, I received an interesting offer:
- 13 days from Tana to Tuléar (via Andasibe, Fiana, Isalo): 1200 € - 8 days in the West (Tsingy, Baobabs): 980 € These prices seem very reasonable for an all-inclusive package, but it's based on 2 travelers, and I'm solo. So, I'm looking for an experienced traveler to share accommodations (separate beds, of course) and split the costs. I can share the full itinerary details in a PM.
Thanks in advance! Fred (Réunion) PS: I’m also open to joining another traveler or group who already has a trip planned! ???

Hi there, I’m Fred, I live on La Réunion and I’ll be traveling to Madagascar this coming July. While searching for a tour with a local agency, I received an interesting offer:

Hi everyone,
I’m from Annecy and I’ve traveled quite a bit, thanks to VF and friends.
I’m looking for someone to travel with for a month in December. I could add New Zealand and later Japan or Bali. I’ve traveled often, in backpacker style, but I also enjoy comfort.
I’d prefer someone who doesn’t live too far from my area so we can meet beforehand.
I’m 70 years old, I love walking, music, water, nature, and sometimes just listening to the silence...
Looking forward to hearing from you. Cécile
Hi everyone! For those who want to take this 18-day trip with an agency, we need to be 4 people to get the rate of 1720 €, which comes to 3000 € including the flight ticket and extras.
It needs to be after April because of the rain.
If you're interested (we still need 3 people), please send me an email.
See you soon!
Mireille
Hello,
Jean Pierre from Lille, a 70-year-old retiree in good health with an athletic build.
I’d like to spend 3 weeks in Réunion where my son lives, then head to Vietnam for 2 months where I have friends in the north, and finish with 1 to 2 months in New Zealand where I don’t know anyone!
I often travel as a laid-back adventurer—no stress, but still organized.
Since I don’t like groups, I’m only looking for one person, man or woman, who’s used to traveling off the beaten path.
That’s pretty much it!
Hope to hear from you soon
Single 48-year-old man looking for a female travel companion (ages 35-50) to travel between August 10th and 24th (dates are flexible).
🗺️ Either in Sète (where I have a pied-à-terre) or anywhere else in the world as long as there’s sunshine!
I’m a laid-back, cheerful, and respectful guy. Just looking for a chill vibe, no pressure.
No groups, no forced flirting—just the desire to share some great moments together.
👋 If the idea appeals to you, drop me a message!
Hi there, well, I’d like to embark on a big trip to West Africa—visit Cape Verde, then head down to São Tomé and South Africa, Kenya, and especially spend 3 months in Madagascar.
I’d like to buy a used Toyota from Kenya. That’s the big picture—I don’t want to post about it on social media. My dates are late November, for a year, on a shoestring budget, and I want to meet people. Too selfish in Western countries. I’m open to any discussion. Planning to go in a van/truck. Looking forward to hearing from you. Roger
Hello!
I’m Erica and I’m planning a trip to northern Madagascar. The idea? To discover incredible landscapes, enjoy the beaches, do a bit of hiking, and most of all, experience a beautiful human adventure. I’d love to share this trip with someone who’s open-minded, easygoing, and curious! 😊
🗺️ Planned itinerary: Nosy Be, Diego-Suarez, the Red Tsingy, Emerald Sea…
📅 Dates: Early April
I’m looking for a travel buddy to share the journeys, the good times, and maybe even split some costs. If you love adventure, nature, and meeting new people, this trip might be for you too!
If this speaks to you, send me a message so we can chat! 😍
See you soon,
Calm, composed, reflective, dreamy, intuitive, joyful—I feel like (especially in winter) colors and warm seas, shared moments to savor the soul of the world. Why not also the rest of the time in Europe, France, Italy, and other regions of the world? For example, to bathe in gorges with clear waters, marvel at landscapes, taste the harmony of a village, a city (Florence…), a culture…
Currently, I’m finishing writing a novel. I’m also looking for partners for the "Human Source" project I’m developing. It’s about collecting and sharing stories of human transformations, moments of awareness, and offering tools to feel guided through these changes. I also love speaking English.
Let’s chat a bit here, then on WhatsApp or by phone, and then meet somewhere in France for 1 or 2 days. If we click, we can organize a short 4- to 5-day trip somewhere not too far, and maybe then continue on to bigger travels. Interests: - Writing, Reading, Songwriting, Awareness, Dream Symbolism, Wonder, Gentle Joy, Sense of Beauty, English, Various topics on human knowledge, Taking the time to live things fully, Sea, Sun
** I’m not into trekking or sports, but more into leisurely walks, taking my time, and peaceful discovery**

Hi there!! We’ll be on vacation in Mauritius from March 18 to 29 and have booked a private outing to swim with dolphins on March 25. The price for this outing is 430 € whether there are 2 or 4 of us. Right now, it’s just the two of us, and we’d be up for sharing this experience with two other people (which would bring the price down to about 110 € per person). The provider is okay with this.
We chose this option because the providers are usually very respectful of the animals. It also lets us leave early (5:30 AM) to be the first to see the dolphins before the horde of more "touristy" boats arrives (around 7:30 AM) and swarms the animals. (I’ve experienced this—and really didn’t enjoy it—in Malaysia with turtles, and I don’t want to go through that again.) The outing lasts 3 hours (60 to 90 minutes with the dolphins, then a snorkeling spot, then Crystal Rock).
If you're interested...

Hi there,
I’m heading back to Réunion 13 years after my first trip to this gorgeous island, from 02/25 to 03/12 because airfare prices are great for those dates with Air Austral—557.65 € with a checked bag and 100 € less without. Departing from Paris CDG on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM and returning to Paris on Tuesday, March 12, 2025, at 5:30 AM.
I know it’s not the ideal time to visit Réunion, but I’ve been there during the same season before and it went well. There are fewer tourists, the landscapes are even more stunning, and the only risk is a cyclone keeping us indoors for a few days. Otherwise, there’s always a spot on the island with sunshine, and rain usually arrives in the afternoon...
I’m looking for people who, like me, love hiking and (re)discovering a region to join me!
We’ll rent a car and hike across different parts of the island most days, plus some sightseeing and a bit of swimming in natural pools or at the beach. The detailed itinerary isn’t set yet, and I’m open to suggestions—though we’ll mostly go with the weather. I’m planning several accommodations to explore more easily and cut down on driving... Estimated costs: Train to Paris and RER: 100 € per person Flights: 558 € per person (or less if we share a checked bag for two) Car rental: 520 € + 100 € for gas, split among participants Accommodation: 500 € per person Food/restaurants: 450 € per person Total: 1,610 € plus 310 € for the car if there are 2 of us, or 210 € if there are 3... Hi there,
It’s all in the title!
I’m Diane, 38, and I’m traveling to Réunion with my two kids from June 28 to July 13, 2025. I’m ideally looking for another solo mom or dad with kids to join us for some hikes on the island, especially a 2-3 day trip to explore the Mafate cirque.
The goal is to make these outings safer—you never know when a mishap or injury might happen, and it can get pretty serious when you’re the only adult.
I do a lot of hiking and some mountaineering, and my kids are good walkers.
If you’re traveling during the same period and hesitant to book certain hikes because you’re worried about being alone, feel free to reach out!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Diane.
