Hello,
I’d like to do the 550 km Grand Tour of Paris around June 21st—it’s the GR1 trail. I plan to return to Paris each day so I don’t have to carry a heavy pack, and I want to take my time exploring the city as well.
I’m looking for a travel companion who’s in good physical shape and loves hiking.
I’m 68, a semi-retired teacher (I still enjoy teaching), an international traveler who’s already done a round-the-world trip and wants to do more…
Looking forward to getting to know you!

After completing the Camino de Santiago in 2025, I’m planning another "pilgrimage" that will take me from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel through Normandy. Departing from Paris on May 12th, arriving at Mont Saint-Michel on June 5th, with daily stages of 20 to 25 km. I’d love to team up with anyone who might be considering this route—let’s walk together! I’ve had great success with this before on the Camino, where I met a fellow walker just a few weeks prior to setting off!
I’m a 67-year-old retiree with experience in long-distance hiking. The pace is moderate and manageable for any regular hiker.
Feel free to ask any questions if you’re interested—I’m happy to share more details.
