Hello,
For the Laos portion of my trip in Asia, I’m looking for a travel companion (male or female) starting September 16, 2025. I’m 78 years old and travel backpacker-style but with a minimum of comfort. Getting around by local buses and motorbike (scooter type). Planned route from Luang Prabang to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) for about a month. Get in touch for more details. See you soon
Hi there,
I’m free to travel from now until fall 2026. Everything’s in my profile—feel free to check it out: https://voyageforum.com/membres/petitflocon3/
See you soon, Philippe
Hello,
Jean Pierre from Lille, a 70-year-old retiree in good health with an athletic build.
I’d like to spend 3 weeks in Réunion where my son lives, then head to Vietnam for 2 months where I have friends in the north, and finish with 1 to 2 months in New Zealand where I don’t know anyone!
I often travel as a laid-back adventurer—no stress, but still organized.
Since I don’t like groups, I’m only looking for one person, man or woman, who’s used to traveling off the beaten path.
That’s pretty much it!
Hope to hear from you soon
I’m looking for a travel companion to visit Asia in several trips.
I live in Paris.
Available outside of school holidays.
I’m gay.
Hi everyone,
My name’s Romain, I’m 33 (turning 34 soon), from Toulouse, and I’m looking for someone who’d like to join me for part of my trip to Thailand starting in early June. I know what people might think about the timing—yes, it’s monsoon season, but that’s exactly why I’m going then: to avoid the huge tourist crowds during peak periods. This trip comes after a lot of tough things that have happened in my life over the past few months, and this part of the world has always called to me... It’ll be my first time traveling outside Europe, and I’ll admit I’m a little nervous about going alone, but if it’s meant to happen, I’ll let fate take care of the rest haha 😄 I chose this moment in my life to go to Thailand to connect with a different way of living, meet locals, wander around, discover new things, and discover myself in the process. I’m a really cheerful, sincere person who loves human connections and genuine exchanges. I’m also very into spirituality and personal growth. Through this post, I’d love to find one or more people who’ve already planned to go there so we can meet up and share part of the journey together, or maybe someone who relates to what I’ve shared and wants to go too but not necessarily alone—I’m open to anything 🙂 If you’re interested, feel free to reply here or send me a private message so we can start chatting. Wishing you all the best, and hope to hear from you soon 😉

Anyone in Thailand from May 22 to June 4?
I’ll be there... not entirely sure where exactly yet! :-)

Hello,
This post is for those who’ll be there at those dates! I’m a 72-year-old woman who’s traveled a lot and still loves it. I’ve already visited several countries in Asia.
I’m heading to Bali solo from 05/21 to 06/02. The trip is completely booked. I’ll be staying 5 nights in Ubud, 2 nights in Munduk, and 4 nights in Sidemen. I’ve found a French-speaking driver-guide (60 € per day + lunch included).
If anyone’s around and wants to join me for a visit, a walk, see a dance performance, grab a drink, or have dinner together, I’d love the company.
Traveling with a man is no problem for me, but there must be no ambiguity.
Best regards,

I’d love to connect with people who’ll be there at the same time.
I’m staying two days in Hanoi—if we can meet up to explore the city, that’d be great!
Also, I’d appreciate some tips on packing and which mosquito repellents to bring. Maryvonne Sanchez
I’d like to explore Southeast Asia with a travel companion.
I’m available outside of school holidays.

Hi everyone,
We’re a couple planning to cross China from north to south in early August (Erenhot to Mohan). A guide and agency are required, and the price is lower for groups of travelers. Our dates aren’t set yet (first week of August is almost certain).
If anyone’s interested, feel free to reach out! :-)
See you soon! Nav & Pauline

Hi there! I’m looking for a travel companion—preferably around my age—to explore Vietnam for two weeks at the end of May. I’m more drawn to landscapes than cities, so I’d like to focus on the northern part starting from Hanoi. May is a great time to visit since the temperatures are more comfortable.
Just to give you an idea, I’ve got a 2-week itinerary planned with a local agency that includes a private driver, but I’m also open to co-creating our own route for a bit more adventure.
If this sounds like something you’d be up for, don’t hesitate to reach out! Pascale

Hi there,
I’d like to travel to Asia in August 2025 for two to three weeks (between August 2nd and 24th).
I haven’t decided on the destination yet; I’m considering Laos, Sri Lanka, Indonesia (I’ve already been to Vietnam, Thailand, and northern India). I’m open to other destination ideas too.
I’m looking for a female travel companion to share this trip.
The plan: backpacking trip, cultural visits, relaxation, and immersing in local life (transport, food, accommodation, etc.).
I’m Laurène, I’m 37, and I live in Toulouse. I’ve traveled with female companions twice before, and it was always a great experience!
Looking forward to hearing from you and exchanging ideas! :)
Hello, I’m planning a trip to Vietnam next March and I’m looking for a travel companion. The itinerary isn’t set in stone yet, but I’d definitely like to visit the north and then decide the rest together. I’m thinking of a three-week trip with some hiking, sightseeing, and beach time. My "profile" will give you more info about me—I’d love to chat with potential travel buddies!
Hello,
We’re a couple in our 50s with a 12-year-old son, and we’re looking for 2 or 3 other people (ideally another couple with a child close in age to ours, but that’s not essential) to join us on a lovely excursion to Phang Nga Bay on Tuesday, 11/2/2025. There’s still space available, which would help reduce the cost per person.
Here’s the plan: An authentic and traditional small-group tour (max. 6 people) away from the crowds, on a private longtail boat from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We’ll explore numerous caves and lagoons, go for swims, visit James Bond Island, a stilt village, and more.
Price: 4000 THB per person.
Note: We’ll be staying in the southwest part of Phuket province, so it’d be best if you’re not too far away to make logistics easier.
DM me if you’re interested.

I’m looking for a contemplative, very calm, and cultured person to savor the spirit of Hoi An and its nearby surroundings. Ideally, the stay would be between 3 weeks and 1 month.
Ever heard of Christian Bobin?

Hi there,
Anyone up for a trip to Malaysia or Thailand from January 17 to February 1, 2025? It’ll depend on the flight tickets and how long we want to travel—ideally, two weeks to explore at our own pace.
I’m a Parisian in my 40s, non-smoker, love walking, cultural outings, the beach, and trying local food.
If any fellow traveler’s interested in planning a trip together, let me know!
Looking forward to it, future travel buddy! 😎
I’m heading to the Raja Ampat archipelago from February 11th to March 20th. I’ll be staying with locals on different islands. The plan includes snorkeling, kayaking (packraft), hiking... If you’re interested, we can share part of the journey together.
Christelle
Hi there!
Looking to head off by the end of this year, no later than between December 10th and 15th, for the Philippines.
Any recommendations for regions like the Batanes Islands and Mindanao, away from mass tourism and off the beaten path?
Plan: Beaches, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and visiting the most interesting sites depending on each person’s preferences (I’m not really into old stones but more about nature, jungle, flora, and fauna).
When? Between December 10th and 15th, but no later than December 15th–17th.
Where? Northern Philippines, starting with a few days of beach and relaxation to recharge after the bad weather and winter in France. Then, off to trek in northern Luzon with its stunning rice terraces, followed by the Batanes Islands, which are the epitome of off-the-beaten-path destinations. After that, we’d head down to the Balicas Islands, where you can swim with turtles and where tourism is minimal due to very limited hotel infrastructure (accommodation is in tents by the sea). Next up: the island of Mindanao.
Depending on time and everyone’s interests, we could continue to Sumatra and then the Moluccas Islands, which, unlike the rest of Indonesia, are much less affected by the monsoon.
With whom?
Someone who’s already traveled and hiked beyond just their imagination and dreams . Independent and resourceful (I’m looking for a travel partner, not a tourist to guide). Good-humored and adaptable. Loving adventure and eager to explore off the beaten path.
I’ve traveled a lot and I’m a fan of the unexpected (go where the wind takes you).
If you see yourself in these few lines, it would be a great pleasure to share this new adventure with you for a few days or weeks.... This is just a rough plan I’m proposing, and it can be adjusted based on everyone’s preferences.

Hi, I’d like to go to Indonesia between April and September. I’ve been there once before with someone to Yogyakarta and Lombok.
This time, I’ll be going alone to Sumba.
I’m looking for company for the trip at least until Sumba or Jakarta. In theory, I have someone picking me up in Sumba.
I hope I’ll get this opportunity. Thanks.

Hi,
I’ll be in Cambodia from January 15 to 28, 2025, and I’d love to meet up with people for activities, grab a drink, or just chill on the beach.
Plans include the Angkor temples and then Koh Rong Island—if anyone’s around or up for traveling, don’t hesitate!
Looking forward to it,
Vanessa
Hey surfers, hey everyone,
I’m looking for a partner to go surfing and share some great moments. The location doesn’t matter to me, as long as there are uncrowded surf spots. I’m thinking, for example, of the Pacific coast in Colombia or some lesser-known islands in Indonesia. I’ve already visited several quiet spots, but always solo. This time, I’d love to share the experience with someone.
I’m open to any destination and ready to adapt if you have ideas or preferences. Ideally, I’m looking for someone with an intermediate level or higher. I’m not an expert surfer, but I can handle intermediate spots and sometimes more challenging ones. If you’re more experienced, that’d be perfect—I’d love to learn from you and improve.
For languages, I speak English and Spanish, so no problem communicating! I’m keen to leave around mid-January or early February for about 2-3 weeks. A pure surf trip, with lots of fun along the way.
If you’re interested, feel free to suggest ideas or drop me a message. Can’t wait to hear your proposals! !

Hi there,
I’d love to start traveling with company again, but going solo can feel a bit heavy. I’m looking for someone to share part of the journey with.
hello everyone
I’d love to take a trip to Bali in May 2025 for about twenty days... I haven’t decided on the type of trip yet, but from what I see, flight tickets alone are expensive...
I found some great deals on LastMinute.com. It doesn’t force you to stay in one place—you can move around—so if anyone (or a small group, max 3 people) is interested,
thanks for your messages!

Hi there! I found a 24-day Laos tour with the agency Tamera in March '25.
Who’d like to join me? It looks like there are already 2 people signed up. Just 2 more and the tour is guaranteed!
Happy holidays to everyone
Hi there,
I’ll be on Palawan Island during the last week of January and early February 2025—any other solo travelers (or accompanied ones) around at the same time?
I’ve browsed the forum a bit, and there seem to be fewer activities than before, but we’ll see.
Just FYI, Air France launched a direct route from CDG to Manila on December 7, 2024.
Have a great day! !
