Road Trip to Mauritania Senegal
I frequently travel to Mauritania by car. I’m offering to take you along on my next trip. I provide the car as well as cover road expenses (fuel, tolls, ferry), plus accommodation in Mauritania. You’ll be responsible for a few meals on the road, the Mauritanian visa, and your return flight (from 300 to 500 € depending on the season).

Crossing Africa
Hi everyone, I’m setting off in my old 4x4 for a north-to-south crossing of Africa this November. I’ll start in Mauritania and make my way to Senegal. My 4x4 is prepped for the journey. Get in touch if you’d like to see if we can set off together. See you soon. Jean Baptiste.

Exploring Mauritania by 4x4 in February 2025
I’m proposing to team up for two weeks in Mauritania in February.

Round-trip flight Paris/Nouakchott with RAM is around 500 €. Departure around 28/01, return around 13/02.

On the ground, I’m organizing a grand tour of Mauritania with a guide I know who’s very reliable. We’ll be in a 4x4, alternating between bivouacs and small hostels. A really diverse itinerary. The circuit price is a maximum of 1200 €. Mauritanian visa: 55 €.

I already know Mauritania—it’s a low-tourism, safe, and friendly country. A chance to discover a real desert with real nomads! However, the ‘hotel’ services are basic! So I’m looking for adaptable travel companions, easy-going, and preferably with a good sense of humor.

I’m in the senior age range, but I’ve got nothing against younger folks 😊.

If you’d like to share this amazing adventure, get in touch with me.

Morocco and possibly Mauritania by vehicle, late February 2025
After swapping our Patrol for a Duster, we’re planning a trip to Morocco to test the off-road capabilities of this new vehicle—and if we’re happy with it, we might push on to Mauritania. We’re a retired couple used to this kind of trip, and we’ll be leaving around late February 2025... Our passions: off-the-beaten-path travel, photography, wildlife, prehistory, and meeting locals. Looking for one or two other crews with similar interests...
