Hi there!! We’ll be on vacation in Mauritius from March 18 to 29 and have booked a private outing to swim with dolphins on March 25. The price for this outing is 430 € whether there are 2 or 4 of us. Right now, it’s just the two of us, and we’d be up for sharing this experience with two other people (which would bring the price down to about 110 € per person). The provider is okay with this.

We chose this option because the providers are usually very respectful of the animals. It also lets us leave early (5:30 AM) to be the first to see the dolphins before the horde of more "touristy" boats arrives (around 7:30 AM) and swarms the animals. (I’ve experienced this—and really didn’t enjoy it—in Malaysia with turtles, and I don’t want to go through that again.) The outing lasts 3 hours (60 to 90 minutes with the dolphins, then a snorkeling spot, then Crystal Rock).

My usual travel buddy isn’t available. I’m looking for someone to join me from February 13th to 28th in Egypt for a classic trip off the beaten path—Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Alexandria, and Abu Simbel.

Hi there! Looking to head off by the end of this year, no later than between December 10th and 15th, for the Philippines. Any recommendations for regions like the Batanes Islands and Mindanao, away from mass tourism and off the beaten path?

Plan: Beaches, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and visiting the most interesting sites depending on each person’s preferences (I’m not really into old stones but more about nature, jungle, flora, and fauna).

When? Between December 10th and 15th, but no later than December 15th–17th.

Where? Northern Philippines, starting with a few days of beach and relaxation to recharge after the bad weather and winter in France. Then, off to trek in northern Luzon with its stunning rice terraces, followed by the Batanes Islands, which are the epitome of off-the-beaten-path destinations. After that, we’d head down to the Balicas Islands, where you can swim with turtles and where tourism is minimal due to very limited hotel infrastructure (accommodation is in tents by the sea). Next up: the island of Mindanao.

Depending on time and everyone’s interests, we could continue to Sumatra and then the Moluccas Islands, which, unlike the rest of Indonesia, are much less affected by the monsoon.

Someone who’s already traveled and hiked beyond just their imagination and dreams . Independent and resourceful (I’m looking for a travel partner, not a tourist to guide). Good-humored and adaptable. Loving adventure and eager to explore off the beaten path.

Hello, With a couple of friends, I’m looking for a teammate (or up to two people max) interested in exploring Iceland in the areas I’ve circled on the attached document. This trip will focus on the island’s interior, traveling through the tracks of the 'Icelandic desert' where the landscapes are stunning—including the Myvatn region, Landmannalaugar, the Golden Circle, and the Askja area. A 4x4 is essential (rental to be arranged). The itinerary includes discovering well-known and hidden spots, photography, short treks (2 to 4 hours), relaxing in hot springs, and soaking up the unique atmosphere of this incredible country I’ve visited several times before. Average age of participants already on the list: 62, but we’ve all traveled extensively across all five continents. Hi there, I’m heading back to Réunion 13 years after my first trip to this gorgeous island, from 02/25 to 03/12 because airfare prices are great for those dates with Air Austral—557.65 € with a checked bag and 100 € less without. Departing from Paris CDG on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM and returning to Paris on Tuesday, March 12, 2025, at 5:30 AM. I know it’s not the ideal time to visit Réunion, but I’ve been there during the same season before and it went well. There are fewer tourists, the landscapes are even more stunning, and the only risk is a cyclone keeping us indoors for a few days. Otherwise, there’s always a spot on the island with sunshine, and rain usually arrives in the afternoon... I’m looking for people who, like me, love hiking and (re)discovering a region to join me!

We’ll rent a car and hike across different parts of the island most days, plus some sightseeing and a bit of swimming in natural pools or at the beach. I’m proposing to team up for two weeks in Mauritania in February.

Round-trip flight Paris/Nouakchott with RAM is around 500 €. Departure around 28/01, return around 13/02.

On the ground, I’m organizing a grand tour of Mauritania with a guide I know who’s very reliable. We’ll be in a 4x4, alternating between bivouacs and small hostels. A really diverse itinerary. The circuit price is a maximum of 1200 €. Mauritanian visa: 55 €.

I already know Mauritania—it’s a low-tourism, safe, and friendly country. A chance to discover a real desert with real nomads! However, the ‘hotel’ services are basic! So I’m looking for adaptable travel companions, easy-going, and preferably with a good sense of humor.

I’m in the senior age range, but I’ve got nothing against younger folks 😊.

I’m looking for a partner to go surfing and share some great moments. The location doesn’t matter to me, as long as there are uncrowded surf spots. I’m thinking, for example, of the Pacific coast in Colombia or some lesser-known islands in Indonesia. I’ve already visited several quiet spots, but always solo. This time, I’d love to share the experience with someone.

I’m open to any destination and ready to adapt if you have ideas or preferences. Ideally, I’m looking for someone with an intermediate level or higher. I’m not an expert surfer, but I can handle intermediate spots and sometimes more challenging ones. If you’re more experienced, that’d be perfect—I’d love to learn from you and improve.

I’m Diane, 38, and I’m traveling to Réunion with my two kids from June 28 to July 13, 2025. I’m ideally looking for another solo mom or dad with kids to join us for some hikes on the island, especially a 2-3 day trip to explore the Mafate cirque.

The goal is to make these outings safer—you never know when a mishap or injury might happen, and it can get pretty serious when you’re the only adult.

I do a lot of hiking and some mountaineering, and my kids are good walkers.

Hi everyone, I’m planning a trip to South America in October 2025 by motorcycle—a 600 XT prepped for travel—and I’m looking for a road companion (with their own bike) to join me for extra safety, especially on the Guyana-Brazil leg: Cayenne to Macapá to Santarém (by boat), then the Transamazônica highway all the way to Peru. The exact dates are still flexible, and I’ll be shipping the bike with Long-Cours. The trip duration isn’t set yet—I’m retired, so time’s not an issue!
