The Republic of Cyprus is a highly popular tourist destination, so accommodation is plentiful and varied, including all types of hotels and guesthouses, all-inclusive resorts, campsites, bed and breakfasts, rural gîtes, and house or apartment rentals. As you might expect, the coastal tourist areas have the largest and best capacity, but also the biggest price fluctuations depending on the season. Note that in peak season, it’s almost essential to book in advance if you want to find something in the most popular spots.

This formula is very common along the Cypriot coast, catering to a traditionally British, Scandinavian, Russian, or German audience, but increasingly to French visitors as well. As always, if you’re only planning a sedentary beach holiday, it’s worth checking out these offers, especially if there are promotions. In fact, the price of these deals can be very attractive, and sometimes the cost of "flight + hotel" is almost the same as a simple standalone flight to the destination.
