Entry Requirements and Visa for Dominica
FR

People

For tourist travel.

For French Citizens

A valid passport is required for stays of less than 3 months; a visa is necessary for longer stays. An exit tax equivalent to around fifteen euros is also charged.

In theory, an ID card is sufficient for stays of less than 15 days. However, since this is only a "tolerance" on the part of the authorities and some travelers have encountered issues in the past, it is better to opt for a passport.

Other Nationalities

Citizens of the European Union, the Commonwealth, Switzerland, and Canada (as well as all cruise passengers) do not need a visa for stays of less than 3 or 6 months, depending on nationality. A passport is sufficient, and the exit tax also applies.
