For French nationals
A passport valid for at least 6 months after the planned departure date, plus a yellow fever vaccination, are required to enter Gambia. Additionally, a visa is needed, which can be free if staying less than 15 days, or costs 50 € for a single entry (up to 90 days) or 80 € for multiple entries. While the visa can be obtained before departure at Dakar in neighbouring Senegal, it can also be issued at the border.
