Entry Requirements and Visa for Jamaica
People
For tourist travel purposes.
For French Citizens
For stays of less than one month, a passport valid for six months beyond the planned departure date is required. For stays exceeding one month, a visa must be obtained before departure at a cost of 45 €. In all cases, a return or onward ticket, as well as proof of sufficient funds or reservations, may be requested.
Other Nationalities
No visa is required for Belgian and Swiss citizens for stays of less than 3 months, or for Canadian citizens and other Commonwealth nationals for stays of less than 6 months. However, proof of a return ticket and sufficient funds may still be requested.
Given the disparities among nationalities, including within the European Union, the Jamaican Embassy in Belgium provides a summary document outlining visa requirements and fees by nationality.
