A passport and visa are mandatory. The visa application procedures differ depending on whether you enter the country by air or land. Note that anyone staying in the country for less than 30 days is exempt from registration with the authorities.
Arrival by Air
In this case, it is possible to obtain your visa on arrival at Dushanbe Airport, provided an online application has been submitted in advance via the approved website. This is a mandatory condition to benefit from this option, or you risk being denied entry.
Arrival by Land
If arriving by land, the visa must be obtained in advance. It can now only be secured electronically through a dedicated website.
