General information

Andorra is one of the six countries in the world without an airport on its territory. However, there are three heliports, and a new airport opened in 2015 near Seu d'Urgell (Spain) to serve the principality as closely as possible (it is 12 km to the north). Otherwise, the nearest airports are Lleida, Girona, and Barcelona on the Spanish side, as well as Toulouse on the French side.

Note that while there are two airlines with names referring to the principality (Air Andorra and Andorra Airlines), both are Spanish, though they are indeed based at Seu d'Urgell Airport.
