For travel with a tourist purpose.
For French Citizens
No visa is required for stays of less than 3 months, but since late 2019, an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) must be obtained within 72 hours exclusively online via the official site (as always, beware of multiple "intermediary" sites that may not be useful).
A passport valid for 3 months beyond the planned departure date and a return or onward ticket are also required. Occasionally, proof of sufficient funds for the stay may be requested.
