Getting to Denmark by Land or Sea

Borders
Denmark shares only one land border with Germany ( km).
Note that since 2000, Denmark and Sweden have been connected by a 16-kilometre bridge/tunnel, the Öresund Bridge, which runs from the outskirts of Copenhagen to Malmö across the strait separating the two countries. It accommodates both cars and trains. The one-way crossing for a car costs 47 €, or 22 € if you’ve purchased the BroPas in advance for 39 €, which pays for itself on a round trip.
