Entry Requirements
French nationals and some others do not need a visa for Hong Kong and Macau for up to 90 days. However, if they plan to "visit China" (including just for a day trip), they must comply with Chinese authorities and obtain a Chinese visa in advance. Note that this visa cannot be obtained in Hong Kong or Macau.
