Luggage and equipment to bring
Nothing more or less than what the different seasons require in a European country with a continental climate. Just remember to pack a light sweater for summer as well (some days can be quite cool, not to mention the evenings), plus something to protect yourself from the rain, which falls quite often year-round. Since Amsterdam is also a city where you walk a lot, bring appropriate shoes.

Tourist Offices
The city’s main Tourist Office is located opposite Central Station, at Stationsplein 10. It is open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Four other tourist offices are also available to the public, including one at Schiphol Airport.
