Luggage and Equipment to Bring

In summer, pack light clothing plus a sweater for inland areas and evenings. In winter, while moderately warm clothes may suffice for the coast, much more protective gear is needed for the mountainous regions or central Croatia. Don’t forget water shoes for the beach (to protect against sea urchins and especially the pebbles), as well as sun protection, rain gear, and wind protection—sometimes cold and strong in autumn/early winter.
