French language use

Haiti has two official languages: French and Creole. French is primarily the administrative language or spoken by the "upper classes" of Haitian society. Creole, however, is used by everyone and is the everyday language for the majority of the population. Nevertheless, you will always manage to make yourself understood, as you will more or less easily find someone who speaks French.
