Climate and weather
These islands enjoy a cool, fairly windy oceanic climate. Summers are free from excessive heat thanks to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, and winters are relatively mild, cloudy, and humid. The heaviest rainfall occurs at the end or beginning of the year. Generally, the best time to visit climatically is June to September to avoid too much rain.
