Best Times to Visit Haiti
Finding the best time to visit involves balancing climate conditions with crowd levels and the most attractive prices for travel and on-site expenses.
Climatically, like other Caribbean islands, the dry season (from late November to March) is ideal if you want to avoid heavy rains, occasional stifling heat, or hurricanes that can reach the island. As for tourist crowds, aside from the private beach monopolized by cruise passengers from Labadie and the occasional UNESCO-listed Historic National Park (near Cap-Haïtien), you’ll encounter few visitors. In short, your choice will depend on climate constraints, with late November to March being the preferred window.
