Location Map of Sweden
Gothenburg and the South

Also called "Götaland", southern Sweden is one of the country's three traditional regions. It is here that much of Sweden's history was shaped over the centuries, leaving numerous traces of the past, particularly from the medieval era. Beyond its cultural heritage, the region—with its coastline, beaches, and pleasant summer climate—is also the country's main holiday destination for both locals and visitors from neighboring countries.
Stockholm and the Central Region

The capital region is characterized by its forests and countless lakes and islands, perfect for a variety of outdoor activities. It also boasts a rich cultural heritage unique to the capital and its surroundings.
Swedish Lapland and the North

Just as sparsely populated as its neighbors, Swedish Lapland—and more broadly what is known as "Norrland"—offers a different side of Sweden. Beyond the Sami culture and traditions, the region is a vast playground for nature and adventure enthusiasts, whether in summer or during the long winter months. It is also where you can experience the midnight sun and the northern lights.
