This is the western part of the country, home to the capital and the majority of the Czech population. It also offers the most diverse landscapes, including the Sudetes mountain range to the north, and numerous towns, castles, and historical sites that are well worth a detour after visiting Prague the must-see.

This is the eastern part of the Czech Republic, encompassing Moravia and a small portion of "traditional" Silesia. Less touristy than Bohemia, the region still boasts several cities with interesting architecture or monuments like Brno, Olomouc, and especially Telč. It’s also the country’s wine-growing region, with a Moravian Wine Trail that attracts a certain crowd.
