Choosing Your Trip
Unless you plan to stay for a good three weeks, it’s hardly possible to see everything in Senegal in a single trip.
One Week
For a one-week trip, a choice is essential. Among the options:
- Dakar and its surroundings, Saint-Louis, and part of the Petite Côte.
- Dakar and its surroundings, the Petite Côte, and the Siné Saloum.
- Dakar and its surroundings, part of the Petite Côte, and—if you don’t "drag your feet"—Niokolo-Koba National Park.
Two Weeks
This gives you more time for the above circuits. In two weeks, you can also cover Dakar and its surroundings, Saint-Louis, the Petite Côte, and the Siné Saloum, or even extend to Niokolo-Koba National Park or Cap Skirring.
