Where to Eat
Generally, people eat early in the evening in Sweden. There are two categories of restaurants in the country: on one side, "classic" restaurants offering menus around 25 to 30 €, and on the other, more affordable breweries, cafeterias, or self-service spots. That said, most restaurants, regardless of category, offer a weekday lunch special of a dish plus drink (called "dagens rätt") for 8 to 10 or 12 €, including service. Otherwise, snacks from sandwich shops, picnics, or cooking your own meals at hostels or campsites remain an economical option.
