Nature-Adventure
The volcano, small mountains with rugged terrain, forests home to several bird species where hiking is possible, high sea cliffs, and a few black sand beaches... as well as the part of the territory "destroyed" by the eruption. In short, the landscapes and environment here are unlike those on other Caribbean islands. That’s what gives the place its "charm."
Culture
Relaxation-Holidays
Even though the island has some beautiful beaches and coves surrounded by cliffs, or opportunities for diving, it’s not at all a "holiday destination" like other islands in the region. There are no large hotel or tourist structures on the island.
Independent Travel
Montserrat is a very easy destination for independent travel, perfect for beginner travelers.
Organized Travel
Day trips to Montserrat (quite expensive) are available from the neighboring island of Antigua. On-site, there are also options for guided and regulated tours of the Exclusion Zone, depending on current volcanic activity.
