Cities and cultural heritage

Lobamba
It is the royal and legislative capital of Eswatini, a few kilometres from Mbabane and at the gates of the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Its two annual royal festivals are the only tourist attractions in this very small town.
Manzini
The country's second-largest urban area is primarily a commercial hub. The international airport is on its outskirts.
Mbabane
The country's administrative capital is hardly touristy. However, the surrounding area offers more interest, with treks to be done in the nearby mountains.

Natural heritage

Parc national de Hlane, Swaziland
Hlane Royal National Park
In northeastern Eswatini, this vast reserve—home to many species, including lions—is an excellent place to get up close to elephants and rhinos on a "walking safari." Nearby, Mlawula Nature Reserve offers great opportunities for trekking, mountain biking, and birdwatching.
Mkhaya Reserve
This is a small reserve in central Eswatini established to protect certain local endangered species such as rhinoceroses, elephants, and several varieties of antelope.
Réserve naturelle de Malolotja, Swaziland
Malolotja Nature Reserve
This is a stunning mountain park with unique wildlife and flora. You can explore it on foot, by mountain bike, or 4x4 and enjoy its waterfalls, including Malolotja Falls with its 89-meter drop.
Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve
The main attraction of the site is a beautiful waterfall accessible by hiking.
Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary
The oldest reserve in the country is home to a fairly rich wildlife that can be explored on foot, by bike, on horseback, or by car. The Mantenga Nature Reserve is an extension of it.
Usutu River
The river flowing from South Africa to Mozambique offers good rafting opportunities in the part of Eswatini it crosses.
