Best Times to Visit Cuba
Finding the best time to visit means balancing climate constraints with crowd levels and the most attractive prices for on-the-ground costs or travel to the island.
While the climate from late November to early May is ideal, this period—especially around Christmas and the start of the year—also sees the highest crowds and corresponding prices. There’s also a noticeable influx in July and August. The rest of the year is much quieter, though the weather is rainier, though the climate isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker for this destination.
All things considered, the very beginning (November to early December) or the very end of the season (late March to May) are the most recommended times, at least for beach areas, which still attract far more visitors than the island’s interior.
