Best Times to Visit Honduras
Finding the best time to visit means balancing climate conditions with crowd levels and the most attractive prices for travel and on-site costs.
Climatically, the dry season is ideal for visiting: from November to early May for the interior and the southern coast, or from February to late June for the Caribbean coast. As for tourist pressure, it remains generally low, though Roatán and the other islands attract some visitors around Christmas, Easter, and outside the rainy season. Elsewhere, aside from Copan, there’s little tourism. In short, February to May is a great period for the whole country.
