Hi there 😉

Photo No. 2

In Vietnam, the slow boat that connects Haiphong and Cat Ba (the starting point for visiting Halong Bay) stops from time to time along the way, and at the arrival of the different stops, moto-bike drivers are there on the lookout for potential customers

xrctn-3 - Start of the Rotto Swim, Cottesloe, WA, Australia

It’s about swimming from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island (19.7 km). An annual event that N has taken part in three times as part of a team! The last time, it had to be interrupted because of sharks!!! For those interested, there’s still time to register for the next start...

Photo No. 1: Departures and arrivals... but to where? And at what times? By the banks of the great Yangtze River (China), a departure board with signs only in Chinese characters! Okay, I have to admit that in China, on electronic departure boards in train stations or airports, the Chinese characters alternate with English translations, making it easier for most non-Chinese people to understand.

Photo No. 1 - ARGENTINA The train arrives in El Bolsón, no level crossing. Cars stop at the sight of the conductor, passengers get on or off, and the town isn’t far away. It feels like the Wild West.

Photo No. 2 - Frankfurt Airport After 3 weeks in Cambodia, it’s with a heart full of nostalgia that we wait for our return flight. Seeing these monks here feels like a sign—we still feel a little like we’re back there...

Hi everyone,

This theme isn’t easy... Trains, buses, and boats... I often take photos while waiting but rarely of stations and the like. Photo 1: Oops, too late for the train... Battambang, Cambodia.

Photo 2: Boarding now for Padum, Zanskar. Monks from a monastery located between Kargil and Padum are boarding for Padum because the Dalai Lama will be holding several days of teachings there. We’re taking advantage of these specially chartered buses to head to Padum, see the great man, and start the big Zanskar trek on foot.
