Tout à fait d'accord! Le fait qu'ils ne peuvent entrer a été une parole exagérée, mais hier, ils ont été retenus pour vérification sanitaire. Le tableau est déjà assez sombre ainsi, comme tu dis, mais je ne noircis pas le tableau, il se noircit tout seul. Il est important que les gens sachent, malgré que cela n'arrivera peut-être pas ici (je l'espère), que ces calamités ne sont pas un leurre. Et qu'ils ne viennent pas encore se plaindre qu'on ne les a pas prévenus.
Depuis, un an, en plus de Politiques exécrables de par le monde, un Emorme trou monétaire, il y eut la fièvre jaune, le Dengue et maintenant cette peste porcine.

Eh bien voilà, tes rêves sont devenus réalités, puisque depuis ce matin 0h00 mercredi 29 avril 2009, les vols provenant et partant sur le Mexique ont été annulés, et ceci au moins jusqu'au lundi 4 mai 2009.
L'Argentine est le deuxième pays au monde à avoir pris cette décision (après Cuba hier).
Hergé, excuse-moi, mais ceci n'est pas un rêve pour moi, au contraire! Si tout pouvait être plus simple, s'il n'y avait pas toutes ces "plagas" qui nous tombent dessus, je serais un homme heureux.
J'ai vécu ces dernières années avec: la fièvre aviaire, la fièvre porcine, la fièvre aphteuse et la vache folle, j'habitais un endroit compris dans un territoire répertorié "Seveso", si tu crois qu'après toutes ces misères, on ne se fait pas de "mouron", tu te trompes.
J'espère que l'Argentine va apprendre à être un peu plus alerte lors d'évènement de ce genre et ne pas d'abord regardé le match de football avant de s'occuper de la santé publique.
Tu parles de Cuba? Beaucoup de pays devraient prendre un peu de leçon de chez eux!
Si j'avais donné cette information, je le répète, c'était pour mettre en garge nos VF qu'il pouvait se passer quelque chose de grave dans leur voyage. Le voyageur est ainsi fait, il est très désinvolte; et lorsqu'il se ramasse une "pelle", il discute, il rouspète et crie haut et fort qu'on ne l'y reprendras plus!
J'estime que toute information pouvant enrayer un voyage doit être donnée en tant qu'information, au moins on sait à quoi s'en tenir, et ne pas arriver avec un air ébahi dans un pays qu'on ne connaît pas. Un voyage est un voyage et non le tour guide des hôpitaux et pharmacies.

Santé - Une victime de la grippe A en Argentine
L’Argentine compte désormais un cas de grippe A. Il s’agit d’un homme, rentré du Mexique fin avril, habitant en province. Le patient serait déjà guéri et n’aurait contaminé aucune personne de sa famille. Ce n'est que vendredi que son cas de grippe a été confirmée. En effet l’Argentine ne dispose pas encore de "kit" de détection rapide de la nouvelle infection. Tout diagnostic prend donc une dizaine de jours. L’Argentine compte au total, 55 cas suspects qui devraient être infirmés ou confirmés dans les prochains jours.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
The contagion seems to be spreading.
Preventive vaccination (of the animals) is being considered.

Once symptoms appear—sometimes weeks or even months later—death is inevitable.
It’s the bite that transmits the disease.
There are so-called "furious" forms with aggression, but also forms without aggression.
