Enough to plan the next trip !

Between the places we haven’t done and those we want to revisit... we’ll never get through them all 😛. Besides, when we got back, we almost booked a flight to Johannesburg for late April. But we only have a week, and we’d just be rushing around again. Oh well, we’ll go to Beauval instead—at least we’ll be sure to see some lions 😉 😏 😇

Every time I’ve traveled in these parts, I’ve returned the car to Hertz or Avis without washing it at all, and I’ve never been charged extra 😉

Unless you’re really short on time—even then—I think it’s the least you can do to return a clean vehicle. Would you tolerate being delivered a trash can?...

Yes, which country and date are you planning? Thanks for letting me know as soon as you post your travel journal. I went to Namibia—one of the best places in that part of Africa for me. A bit disappointed with Botswana, but Zimbabwe was different and interesting!!!!

Indeed, based on the feedback, Namibia doesn’t leave anyone indifferent 😊. We’re heading there for three weeks in August to do the classic circuit—I already know we’re going to love this country 😍.

A huge thank you for your travel journal, which I thought was extremely well done—it let me revisit places I loved during my trip to Cape Town and the surrounding areas. It really makes me want to go back!!!

Asia... we're spending a few days (Yes, okay! Leaving tomorrow! 🏴‍☠️) on a nearly deserted Thai island to recover from the Laotian travels 😏. Yes, a travel journal will follow... once I get back to work, sort through the photos, etc., etc... Muriel

The "even if..."s are just there to give us a good excuse to go back 😛. Anyway, we’ll keep going back until we spot a big 😏 cat 😎.

Well! Not really enough to whet our appetite: a leopard in the distance and on the last evening, a lion even further away 😢 So we definitely left feeling a bit unsatisfied 😅

Hello. I owe you an apology; I just received a quote from Avis in Joburg following a request, and it does indeed mention 800 R for cleaning.

That wasn’t the case when I rented vehicles there before, which is why I was so upset when I read your message. 😛 Best regards.
