Yes, by bus, and if possible, yes, overnight. It saves me a day and a night at a hotel.
Day 18 = Bariloche - Puerto Montt Day 19 = Puerto Montt - Chiloé
Bariloche-Puerto Varas will already be a pretty long leg. I’d spend the night in Puerto Varas and then head to Chiloé the next day.
