Okay, thanks for your reply—I kinda figured, but I wanted to ask anyway.

And about the ranking, yeah, I get it now.

Hi there, It all depends on how much time you have to get from Stockholm to the Norwegian border. The coast north of Gothenburg is really beautiful, so if you’ve got the time, do Stockholm → Gothenburg and then head up the coast.

Thanks for your reply—it’s tempting, but we really won’t have the time. I’d like to reach Värmland County (yes, I know it’s a bit off the beaten path—I’m struggling to find info!!!), before heading back to Stockholm.

Hi there, Here’s a rough draft of our itinerary for Norway next July. Just to remind you, we’re planning to do this in 18-19 days, and we’ll have our own car from Belgium. Don’t hesitate to share your thoughts... Kristiansand - RYGNESTAD - Odda - Granvin - Gudvangen - Borgund - Sogndal - Skei - Krakenes - Ålesund - Åndalsnes - Geiranger - Loen - GEIRANGER - Urnes - Borgund - Gudvangen - Bergen - Stavanger - Sand - Stavanger - Lysefjorden - Flekkefjord - Kristiansand.

So, these are all the routes and towns I’d like to pass through. If you’ve got any ideas for optimizing this...

Have a great day,

Sophie

It’s rare to read a blog that breaks away from the usual "everyone is beautiful and kind" clichés. Whether I agree with you or not doesn’t matter—it’s real, lived experience! Keep saying what you think, and enough with the bland, generic travel stuff! I’ve been traveling for about fifty years with a backpack whenever I can, and I fall asleep reading 90% of travelers’ stories. I won’t even mention the podcasts with that idiotic smile from women who think they’re fascinating... Bravo
