Arrival (and soon departure) of the train at Ella station (Sri Lanka). From Ella to Kandy, it was definitely the most beautiful train journey I’ve ever taken. This was back in 1996, and there were only locals on board 😛.

Alright, here I go.

Photo 1: The small port of Gizo, on the island of the same name, in the north of the Solomon Islands, where sailors peacefully wait for customers.

I was worried I wouldn’t have anything to post this month, but with a little perseverance, you can do anything!

Photo #1: Buying tickets at a Tokyo station

Photo #2: waiting for the train in Sri Lanka

Photo #3: access to the tiny Vaeroy Island airport, at the southern tip of the Lofoten Islands (Norway)

Photo 1: Somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the Libyan desert, passengers get back on the bus to head toward an even more remote destination in the desert (LIBYA - March 2006).

Photo 2: CHICAGO (September 2014) Union Station: on the stairs from the iconic scene in *The Untouchables* (Brian De Palma – 1987), passengers have just arrived (those going up) while others are about to catch their train (those going down).
