I never knew if he was a sincere yogi since he seemed to put on quite a show for tourists to make as much money as possible in the mornings—almost naked while doing his exercises. In the afternoons, he’d be dressed in bright orange robes with his disciple.

These votes are absolutely illegal in any contest whatsoever. No one—absolutely no one—neither a rival candidate, nor a voter, nor a contest organizer, has the right to remove a participant's entry from the contest, especially arbitrarily, on the sly, without warning them. I’ll admit, I struggled with this contest—photography was tough.

But since we’ve got to vote, here we go: 3 pts - Xrctn 2 - Colombia. A cheerful photo 🙂 2 pts - Kate 1 - Istanbul. The photo that best captures the contest’s spirit 1 pt - Marien33 1 Varanasi. A splash of color and joy (though there’s a dark side to this photo that reminds me of *It*’s clown)

a lot of hardship in the photo.

There are other photos I hesitated over because they actually brought a bit of cheerfulness: Envallis 2 (the bride), Gaura 1 (the peaceful smile), and for the bright colors: Kate 2, Solene 2, Gaura 3. I also really liked Pagal 2 for its composition and lines.
