Hi everyone!

Love this theme! These are the kinds of scenes I adore photographing—who knows why! I’ve got plenty of material, which makes choosing tough.

Photo No. 1 Scene taken in Portugal, at Costa Nova. This woman doesn’t hesitate to dry her laundry on the opposite sidewalk since she doesn’t have enough space at home.

Photo No. 2 Scene taken at OTJIKONDO in NAMIBIA. After hours on the road, we stopped at this private school founded over 20 years ago by an Anglo-German couple to give underprivileged children a chance. The success rate is phenomenal! It’s a community-based and participatory way of life—parents visit their children on weekends (when possible). There are plenty of workshops for the kids to enjoy (music, sports, lab activities, etc.).

My ONE photo for this laundry-themed contest, January 2018... "en" Haridwar, North India, after gatherings, rituals, prayers, baths, offerings... and laundry before heading home for ten thousand Indians. The water is chilly!
