Hello Isabelle, hello everyone!

Thank you for this perfectly run contest, and thanks to all of you for your choice. I’m thrilled about this win because this particular photo gave me a bit of trouble, unlike the other two, which weren’t difficult at all—you just had to be in the right place. Glass ball in my pocket (it’s the size of a pétanque ball) and Nikon around my neck, a few days before lockdown, I went out to capture the image I had imagined. The village of Minerve and its surroundings are so inspiring that the ball rolled around before giving me the reflection I wanted. I could have submitted this one instead.



I told myself that if I ever won our little contest, I’d try to propose something a bit new—a concept that, in its form, had never been explored before. A theme where the narrative would take center stage... It’s risky but not uninteresting. In any case, it’ll be a change, and I trust you all!

If the ball has rolled its hump, then all is well! 😄 At the same time, Minerve as a backdrop offers some interesting perspectives! A contest where the narrative counts—that’s what I like (and I know others who feel the same 😉)!! I can’t wait 😄
