Paradise Falls is located in Wildwood Regional Park in Thousand Oaks, California. It’s a stunning 12-meter waterfall that flows into a large pool along the Arroyo Conejo.
There are several routes to reach the falls. For our part, we took a loop trail that’s about 4 kilometers long.
From the starting point to Paradise Falls, the Mesa Trail is mostly downhill. We passed by a reconstructed teepee. From there, we had a beautiful view of the canyon.
The trail descends into a gorgeous canyon and leads to a viewpoint overlooking the creek and the top of the falls.
As we continued our hike, we passed a picnic area and arrived at a pool below the falls.
From there, we had an excellent view of the 12-meter waterfall plunging into the pool. You can also spot a cave to the left of the falls.
We returned via the Moonridge Trail. Keep in mind there are quite a few steps to climb and descend on this last section of the trail.
