Good evening, Aoukerda is south of Tafraoute. I’m sharing the link with you. I’ve never been there, but I passed very close via the R107, which goes through Izerbi!! My god, what a road—I wouldn’t do it again even on foot, not even with a 50 € car 😡. To be honest, I’m still trying to figure out how to get there without leaving my tires behind!!

Hi Imad, I’ve taken the R107 very often. The road is perfect and the scenery is gorgeous. I think you’re talking about the stretch that leads into the village, which is bad?

I take this route from Tafraoute to the RN 17 and Icht, or vice versa, pretty much every year—except last year for health reasons. It's fully paved all the way. Since then, there’ve been heavy rains, and it’s possible the stretch across the plain along the oued before Icht may have taken a hit?? Any members with updates??

I think I read recently that the region was badly damaged by torrential rains some time ago. Worth checking the condition of the roads.

Morocco is vast, and the paved roads are expanding, allowing travelers to access new sites. It's awesome!

That’s why I love every trip I take. Still just as much joy in revisiting certain regions or people, and of course, always eager to discover new things.

Not before 2026 now. I just got back from 3 weeks in China, specifically in Yunnan. An amazing trip that we really enjoyed. So, we won’t be traveling again right away...

No problem, I think. Personally, I always bivouac, so no specific address to recommend. Otherwise, nearby, there’s a large fenced area called "Borg... etc."—I don’t remember the exact name, but everyone knows it—which is great and also has a large campsite. Otherwise, there are gîtes.
