Hi Virginie

So, I imagine you're happy? See you soon, maybe a travel journal? Have a good Sunday

Hi Hélène

We’re thrilled 😎

I’ll put together a travel journal in the next few weeks (not much time at the moment) because we were able to do several hikes, and I had a really hard time finding info on winter hikes while planning our trip.

See you soon

A+ for reading the rest and the end

Hi everyone! Well... I’m a little embarrassed... it’s been over a month and I’ve let time slip by. I really should wrap up this travel journal, but I have to say the last day wasn’t the most exciting. We enjoyed it because it was calmer than the previous three weeks (no driving or hiking), but there isn’t much to tell! I’ll get to it anyway!

Hello Peggy

This hike in Hesten is amazing! It’s gorgeous. The viewpoints in Norway are hard-earned, but it’s totally worth the effort.

We got back from Tromsø two weeks ago. We were blown away 😎

Hi Virginie, I checked out your site after seeing your post—you had such a great trip! It makes me want to go in winter!

Day 22 Saturday, July 30

Full day in Tromsø. We played tourist in the downtown streets and souvenir shops,

we visited the Arctic Cathedral

and strolled through the paths of the Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden.

Then Yannick and I went to return the car at the airport. We thought about going back to the hotel by bus (but the ticket machines weren’t working), by taxi (but there were no taxis at the airport exit), or by hitchhiking (I’m clearly not ready for *Pékin Express* 😅), so we ended up walking! Which wasn’t so bad after all since it let us discover the less touristy side of Tromsø: residential neighborhoods, a bit of forest, a school, a park... And that wrapped up our last day.

Day 23 Sunday, July 31

A taxi was waiting for us around 5:30 AM to cover the few kilometers between the city and the airport. We flew on a small Widerøe plane: it was nice because it didn’t fly too high, so we got a great view of the landscape! After a layover in Bergen, we boarded the second flight to Paris.
