We would’ve loved for it not to end, this travel journal ð
Such a ray of sunshine!
Huge get-together at the hotel with the Samburu ð!
Thanks Christelle

I’m being really contrary today, Christelle ð... but at the hotel where we were staying, one of the guests had "brought back" a beach boy (not sure what for ðĪŠ), and it didn’t seem to be a problem (at least not in public... I didn’t go check any closer ð).
Oh no, I’m laughing, Muriel. For all we know, the people who saw us thought we were about to get up to a foursome 🤝 (yes, Bruno, I love it when things get wild 😂)

In Diani and along the Kenyan coast, we generally know what for. It's a well-known spot for women seeking exotic romances with young men.

One of the rare offers reserved just for ladies—while usually, the whole planet seems to cater only to gentlemen...

I totally agree with Joel 😁. I handle old, run-down cars with handsome young guys way better than old fogeys with pretty dolls. Go figure 😄.
But I’ve only seen one in Kenya, at Rotsaka. I thought it was a Gambian specialty.

The Kenyan coast is really popular for that, especially with women coming from Italy and several English-speaking countries. I don’t think it’s very well-known in France—Saly is more the go-to for that.
Old geezers or washed-up old ladies, it’s six of one and half a dozen of the other.
Their money, their youth, their story.

This photo is gorgeous—Tsavo is on the list for a possible future trip to Kenya! 😊
I’m catching up on my backlog... yeah, I’m always late to the party 😅

Thanks, Christelle, for this travel journal.
Yeah, your take on Kenya is really different from mine—I was all about the wildlife photos 😅
I love this approach, and who knows? Maybe I’ll follow in your footsteps next time: renting a car, taking the train...
Where’s your next adventure? Promise, I’ll be more consistent 😊

Cool if you liked it, Isabelle! I wasn’t feeling too confident when we left because we kind of set off blindly, but it turned out to be a *huge* lovely surprise, and we’ll definitely go back to explore other spots with great pleasure.
And well, the next trip is basically now 😄.
But no travel journal this time—just a little week to recharge in Moroccan Lands 🧞♂️

Have a great day, Isabelle

But without a travel journal because it’s just a short week to unwind in Moroccan lands 😌

Have a great day Isabelle
Watch your calf! ð
If you’re skipping the travel journal, at least make us dream with your itinerary?

It must feel strange for the dromedaries to see the sea. ð

Awesome, enjoy those lazy days!
Whereabouts in Morocco are you? It’s a destination I don’t know at all—I only went to Rabat in early April for a wedding and didn’t visit anything.

Alright Bruno, no worries, I’m counting on you—but it won’t be FRAM with us, and it’ll be a bit more wild... that fennec in the Merzouga desert is winking at us! F601

Ok Bruno, no worries, I’m counting on you—but it won’t be FRAM with us, and it’ll be a bit more wildlife-focused... that fennec in the Merzouga desert is winking at us 😉
True, with you, it’s all about wildlife photography... And apart from a few dromedaries and mules, I’m not exactly a Moroccan fauna expert.
But I’m all for Merzouga—I’m working on a project and we’ll talk about it! ;)
For the fennec, a week without a shower, and we should at least smell like one!

No, not just wildlife photography—I love landscapes too, especially when there’s a great atmosphere like in Iceland, for example 😉

👍

Fair point—plus, we’ll probably be alone since we’ll scare everyone off 😄
Alright, we’d better stop cluttering Christelle’s travel journal before she tells us off 😤

There are also scorpions and vipers. Quite the experience!
But in the Merzouga desert, I’m sure you’ll love playing with shadows and light and forget the purpose of your trip ;)
@Solene, sorry, you can tell us off ðīââ ïļ

Scorpions, vipers… not really my thing, those little critters 😅

All good, we can put on the Dawa now—her travel journal’s done, and she’s completely zoned out!
