If you're passing through the Montreal area

If you're passing through the area (Montreal region), drop us a line in this thread. We’d love to say hello in person, you VFers, and maybe help you enjoy your time in Quebec even more. ๐Ÿ˜‰

For lack of a better option, this is our way of celebrating this big comeback—we’re so happy to see this amazing platform, VoyageForum.com, active again! ๐Ÿ™‚

Really looking forward to reconnecting with the regulars who used to contribute here too! ๐Ÿ™‚

Right now, on this Friday, October 25th, the cold is starting to set in. Halloween decorations are everywhere. Winter will be back before we know it. ๐Ÿคช

Hi there, This is such a great idea—totally in the spirit of VoyageForum. I’m really happy the site is coming back to life. I bet it’s sparking new travel ideas for everyone. I’ll be in Montreal starting next week until the end of November, visiting my kids and catching up with some Quebec friends. If I can join one of your meet-ups, I’d be thrilled. Hope to see you soon!

Hey Cqr,

Cool to see VF back indeed ๐Ÿ™‚

For your time in Montreal, it looks like you’ve got a pretty open schedule. Just drop me a private message here if you’d be up for a neighborhood tour (with a few coffee or lunch stops) ๐Ÿ™‚

Right now, I can show you around Quartier Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, part of the Montreal underground (from Place des Arts to Place Victoria), up and down rue Saint-Denis (from Laurier metro to Champs de Mars), and finally part of Quartier Saint-Henri.

These are tours I’ve organized for the "active" retirees of Quebec (check them out on Facebook: *Les retraitรฉs sportifs du Quรฉbec*). If you’d like to meet some friendly folks, we’ll find the right time and send out the invite. I’ll need 2 or 3 days’ notice to get everything ready. You’ll be our special guest ๐Ÿ˜ If it works out, we should have a great group to join you ๐Ÿ˜‰

That said, the weather’s getting colder, so we’ll need to pick a nice day if possible.๐Ÿคช

So, if you’re interested, I’ll be waiting to hear from you๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome to Quebec!

Hey Bauhaus, I’m just casually dropping back into the site—I’ll be less active than before, but if you ever organize a meet-up (and I’m available), I’d love to join. I’ll keep an eye on this thread! Looking forward to it
