MSC Voyagers Club Reform

Foxpyzy · 2024-11-05

Good evening everyone, since many loyal MSC customers have been asking for it, it seems that the tier system and benefits of the MSC Voyagers Club are undergoing a major reform! Does anyone here have any information? Thanks in advance. Foxpyzy

Hi, I’m also interested in the new tier system because I’ve almost 100,000 points, and I’m at the same level as others with only 10,000 points. I’ll be following this discussion with interest, and it’s great to be able to chat on the site again—I’ve gotten so many great tips for my stopovers here!

Hi everyone, we're disappointed—only 35,000 points! We’ve heard that a new Blue Diamond card with 25,000 points is coming on November 7th, along with new benefits! Which ones? Is this real or just a rumor? We’ve been waiting for this forever! We’ll have to wait! Nothing’s been announced on MSC’s website yet!? Have a good evening. Foxpyzy

Actually, I take at least 4 cruises a year in YC, so I accumulate a lot of points. I’ve been traveling for almost 20 years now, but I started out with Costa, which I left without any regrets

MSC Voyagers Club Update

Hi there, here’s the new grid of MSC perks:

Thanks a lot! Do you know if this grid is already active? I’m a bit disappointed by the few extra perks, but it’s still great that it exists now. I have to admit that I’ve turned to Explora Journey—I’m leaving on November 10th on it. I already did it in December, departing from Miami, and it was truly exceptional. However, there’s no entertainment or real shows, but the service is top-notch, and the food is worthy of Michelin-starred restaurants. And thanks again for all the great tips we find on the forum!

Hi Karinessa,

yes, as far as I know, the new classification is already active. I haven’t tried Explora Journey because, as a rule, I only travel with "real" promotions. My MSC group travel advisor promised me one in YC in March, so I’ll see how it goes. Have a nice day.

Hi, Just FYI: I’m an MSC Voyagers Club Diamond member. I’m trying out Explora Journey in September 2025. I applied for an Explora Club card. Explora Journey took my MSC seniority and directly placed me at Platinum level in the Explora Club. If it interests you, make sure to get your MSC → Explora equivalence validated.

Have a great day.

Hi So we’re entitled to the same discounts as on MSC if I understood correctly? Mich74

Hi,

They have discounts.

For my part, I booked, then I asked for the Explora Club card, and after that, I requested the match with MSC. I haven’t taken advantage of its benefits yet—I’ll see in September. Like with MSC, each level comes with a few perks. (For example, at my level, I get a free daily laundry bag.) There will be five levels introduced in July. Check out the website for more details if you're interested. They also have a phone contact.

I just wanted to point out that you can request a match between the two cards, and it costs nothing.

Have a great day.

Hi Karinessa

Yes, the new status with MSC is now active—we took advantage of it at the beginning of the month. Actually, there’s little difference between the Blue Diamond category and the Yacht Club perks.

I also went on a cruise with Explora, which we really enjoyed. I asked them to transfer my MSC status. In principle, it’s been accepted, but I’m not sure what it’ll mean for our next cruise in October. Best regards
