Weather in Cape Verde in February

Hi everyone,

I’d love to visit Cape Verde in February, but I’d be really disappointed if the good weather and warm water aren’t there. Some say it’s very windy at this time of year—is there a side of the island that’s more sheltered? From your experiences, what are the air and water temperatures like at the end of February?

Hi there! It really depends on which island you're talking about! You mention wanting to visit Cape Verde, but there are 10 islands, each very different from the others—some are better for the beach than others. But it’s true that February isn’t the hottest month, and it’s windy… pretty much all the time here, actually! ;O) Marie
